Timothy Matena Sing’ombe

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Timothy Matena Sing’ombe which occurred on the 16th July 2018.

Son of the late Sing’ombe and the late Kerubo. Husband of the late Rael Kerebi Matena. A loving father of the late Joseph Nyamboga Matena, Emily, George, Mary, Lucy, Sospeter and Norah. Father-in-law of Geoffrey, Margaret, Kama, Maseno. Beatrice and Leonard. Grandfather of Kemunto, Nyambogas’, Moraas’ among others. Brother of Nyarondia, Mogusu, Musa, Jerusa, Sarah, Kimaiga, Josephine and David. Step-brother of the late Mogaka, the late Rioba, the late Momanyi, the late Nyarangi and Bwoma.

Brother-in-law of Jemima, late Jeniffer, Dinah, Jeliah, Gladys, Beatrice and Akombe among others. Son-in-law of the late Nyang’au and Yobensia Moraa. Uncle of Nyarondias, Mogusus, Musas’, Kirnaigas’, David’s’, Asibas’, Mogakas’, Nyarangis’, Bwomas’, Riobas’ Sarah’s, Josephines among others. Cousin of Osoro, Matoke, Matena among others. Nephew of Kerongo. Korera of Achoki, Nyarnwaya, Agwoka, Miyogo, Obare, and Nyangai.

There will be a major fundraising on Tuesday 24th July 2018 at All Saints Cathedral from 5:30pm.

Burial will be on Friday 27th July 2018 at his rural home lyabe, Nyamira Township.
