It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Timothy Muraya Gatheru of National Police Service NPS (Presidential Escort) which occurred on 10/03/2017 at Nairobi West Hospital. Son of Lawrence Gatheru and Mary Gatheru. Loving husband of Anne Njeri and father of Celine Wanjiku. Brother of Charity Gatheru (Uchumi Supermarket), Morris Gatheru (NPS), Eva Gatheru (Monarch Insurance) and Hezron Gatheru (Nairobi Hospital). Son-in-law of Patrick Njonge and Mary Wairimu. Brother-in-law of Grace Nyariara, James Gichere, Dennis Thuku, Bliss Wacera and James Kaguru. Nephew of the late Dadson Mwangi, the late Hezron Mwangi, Geoffrey Wachira (Gikomba), the late Mary Wairimu, Lucy Wanjiku, Jane Njeri, the late Irene Wangari, Bancy Wambura and Beatrice Njoki. Cousin and uncle of many.

Friends, relatives and family members are meeting at Emmacra Hotel (Nairobi), Highridge Presidential Escort Camp and rural home Kiamabara.

The cortege leaves Jamii Nursing Home Karatina on 17/03/2017 for a church service at ACK Kiamabara Church. The burial ceremony will be held at his village Kiamabara, Nyeri County.
