Truphena Moraa Ongwae

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Truphena Moraa Ongwae of Gucha Level Five Hospital (Kisii County), which occurred on Thursday 15th August, 2019 while undergoing treatment in India.

Wife of Meshack Ongwae (Daniel) of Tabaka Mission Hospital. Mother of the late Edwin, Zipporah, Jonathan and Jeremiah (Technical University of Mombasa). Daughter of late Naomi Bosibori and late Simeon Nyakoe Masaki of Keginga village, Nyansiongo location, Nyamira County. Step daughter of Priscah Osiri. Daughter-in-law of the late Nathan Ongwae and Clemencia Nyarinda, and the late Pauline Siocha.

Sister of Kirori, Boto, Mong’are, Prof. Nyakoe, Onduko, Catherine, Fridah, Moenga, the late Orina, Milkah, Kibegwa, Norah, Chorwa, Dorica, Queen,Agnes, Caren, Christine, Janet, Masaki, Robina, Teresa, Roselyne, Pamela, Onami and Jane. Sister-in-law of the late Onditi, Anderson, Sibia, Bathsheba, Wilson, Joseck, Naftal, Esther, Nyabonyi, the late Mayomi, Eunice, the late Peris, Orpha, Rose, Jane Boto, Joyce, Cecilia, Clarice, Agnes, Dorothy, Winnie, Bevin, Jane Masaki and Rebecca.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Garden Square from 5:00 pm for funeral arrangements.

The main fundraising to defray funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday 27th August, 2019 at Professional Center, starting at 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 29th August, 2019 for overnight vigil at her home, in Machoge Chache Location, Misesi Sub-location, Bonentia village, Kisii County.

Burial will take place on Friday 30th August, 2019.
