We announce the demise of Veronica Mutakale Alubisia on 19th August 2019 at Mukumu Mission Hospital.

Daughter of the late Peter Shitsili and the late Clara Shibunji. Sister of the late Zachary Alubala and Tesina Lukanu. Wife of Adrian Alubisia. Co-wife of Priscilla Masitsa. Mother of the late Benedict Witila, Alex Alubisia, Florence Shisundi, Adelheid Bwire, Patrick Imoli, Cornelius Lukulu and Beatrice Khabetsa. Also mother of the late Benina Angela, Phillip Juma, the late Boniface Lukulu, Wenceslaus Ngaira, Agripina Musavi and Bethuel Isunjeli. Mother-in-law of Sophie Witila, Fatuma Asunda, Sylvester Shisundi, Carol Bwire, the late Teresia Imoli, Elisabeth Imoli, Juliana Lukulu, Chrispinus Nyongesa, Rose Mulula, Eanswide Juma, Felistus Lukulu, Beatrice Ngaira and Faith Isunjeli. Grandmother of 39 children, among them: Praxedes, Felix, Innocent, Brian, Kobeti, Laura, Mish, Yusuf, Celestine, Genetrix, Achola, Kevina, Vera, Shibunji, Brenda, Charity, Gloria, Alu, Collins, Wilkista, Johnny, Sandra,Alubala and Vivian. Great grandmother of 42.

Family and friends are meeting for arrangements at her home, Ilala village, lsukha East, Kakamega.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Mission Hospital Mortuary at 7.00am,Thursday 29th August, 2019 for a requiem mass at 9.00am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Mukumu Catholic Church.

Burial will take place at Ilala village, Isukha East, Saturday 31st August, 2019.
