We regret to announce the passing on of our matriarch mama Veronica Chepkemboi Keter on 5th of August 2019.

Beloved daughter of the late Raphael Sem arap Magoi and Cecilia Cheruto. Loving wife of Mr Ernest Maritim Arap Keter who preceded her in death in July, 2018. Sister of the late Joseph Tormoi, the late Augustine Tormoi, Mark Tororey, the late Divina Chematia, the late Sylvester Tororey and the late Albert Tormoi. Sister-in-law of Reginald Keter, the late Benard Rotigen, Musa arap Keino and Sr Justina Tele. Mother of Margaret and James Morumbasi, Stella and the late James and Pamela, Priscilla and Benjamin Birgen, Leo, Epimach and Mary Maritim, Stella and Daniel Tanui, Lucy and Jason Kapkirwok, Silvia and Richard Rono, George and Bernadette Maritim and Eugene-Kennedy and Kirsten Maritim. Grandmother to Michael, Yvonne, Kigen, Sandra, Brian, Chemutai, late Gabriel, Rotigen, Chelimo, Chiri, Cheptoo, Elsie, Ronni, Chumba, Kibiwot, Tim, Terembe, Tebby, Tania Chebet, Chiri, Chemutai, Junior, Tony, Tele, Cindy, Kibet and Alexis. Great-grandmother of Lulu, Michael, Alison, James, Kigen Jr and Dylan.

Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday the 14th August, 2019 at her home Ogilgei Farm Kipkaren Selia.

A gathering of friends and family to pass messages and support towards the celebration will be held at United Kenya Club Monday 12th 2019 from 3.00pm.

Leo Kipkoech Maritim

It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Leo Kipkoech Maritim formerly of Mumias Sugar Company, on 8th August, 2019.

Son of late Veronica and Ernest Keter of Kipkarren Selia. Brother of Margaret Morumbasi, the late James Maritim, Priscilla Birgen, Epimach Maritim, Stella Tanui, Lucy Kapkirwok, Silvia Rono, George Maritim and Eugene Kennedy. Father of Elsie. Brother-in-law of James, Stella, Ben, Mary, Daniel, Kap, Richard, Bernadette and Kirsten. Uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday 14th August, 2019 at the family farm Kipkarren Selia.
