Susan Wangu Wachira (Makena)

(1995 – 2019)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Susan Wangu Wachira (Makena). Who passed away in Dubai on 3 1st July, 2019. She was a former student of D.E.B Karatina, Gatugi Girls and NIBS college, former Employee of 67Airport Hotel and was working in Dubai till her demise.

Daughter of Stephen Wachira Muriuki and Tabitha Nyakio Wachira. Sister of Jerusha Njeri, Grace Muthoni and David Muriuki. Aunt of the late Hope Lucy and Celine Nyakio. Cousin of Wambui, Charles Chege, Jerusha, David and others and a friend to many.

Family and friends have been meeting daily at 5.30pm for prayers in Nairobi at Joyfred chambers and at her home in Karatina.

The cortege leaves Jamii Nursing Home, Karatina on 12/08/2019 at 8.00am and proceed to ACK Church, Karatina at 10.00am and thereafter the funeral will be held at her home in Kangocho village, Karatina, on the same day.

No sorrow, only rejoice and thanksgiving.
