We regret to announce the death of Victorine Akumu Sande.

Daughter of John Kubebea and Paulina Kubebea. Wife of Pascal Sande Barasa of Maliki Village (Chude) Bugengi Sub-location Matayos Sub-county. Mother of Allan Barasa, Bernard Barasa, Collins Barasa and Daniel Barasa. Sister of the late Mary Okere, the late Tom Kubebea, the late Joseph Kubebea, Edward Kubebea, Patrick Kubebea and Phaustine Kubebea.

Sister-in-law of John Okere, Prof. Peter Barasa, Christine Ajiambo, the late Stephen Ouma Barasa, Wilberforce Barasa, Moses Barasa, Rebecca Webala and Agnes Nanjala. Aunt of Maximilla, Paul, Sabina, Antony, Adelaide, Felistus, Classina, Elizabeth, Doreen, Douglas, Sammy, Robert, Oscar, Ben, Anita and Warren. Mother in-law of Jacent and Mercy. Grandmother of John.

The cortege will leave Tanaka Hospital Mortuary on Friday 14th May, 2021. Burial will be held at her home in Maliki (Chude) Village, Bugengi Sub-location, Matayos Sub-county on Saturday 15th May, 2021, starting at 9.00am. Covid-19 protocols shall be observed.
