Son of the late Ayub Gatere Bweri and the late Esther Gachoki. Son-in-law of the late Joseph Mwakilili Mwanyungu and the late Jemimah Majala Mwakilili.

Husband of Charity Mlale Kagotho. Father of Edward Christopher Gatere, Joseph Mwakilili, Esther Njoki Kagotho and Francis David Karuri Kagotho. Nephew of the Late Hurinda Wairimu, the late Nathan Njoroge, Margaret Wanjiku and Jeremiah Wachira. Grandfather of Edah Charity Mlale Gatere, Esther Njoki Gatere, Will George Kagotho Karuri and Alderton Luke Garama Karuri. Family and friends are meeting daily for prayer service at ACK Holy Trinity Church Kitengela from 7PM.

The Cortege leaves Shalom Community Hospital Kitengela on Friday 21/02/2020 at 10.00am for the funeral service and burial at his Kitengela Farm.
