William Ikileng’ Ikapel

Its with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. William Ikileng’ Ikapel which occurred on the 25′ December 2022 at Life Care Hospital Bungoma after long illness bravely borne.

Until his death, Mr. Ikapel was a Senior Counsel at Bungoma and Busia Counties. Mr. Ikapel was former Ag. Managing Director (KBC), Corporation Secretary (KBC) and Magistrate Makadara, Eldama Ravine and Machakos. He was also a Council Member — Alupe University, a long serving Chairman BOM St. Paul’s Amukura High School among others.

Loving husband to the late Hendrica Khadudu Ikileng’.

He’s the son to the late Mr. John Ikapel and Sabina Ikapel (late).

Father to Maximilla Ikapel (UK), Evelyne Ikapel (UK), Jaqueline Ikapel (Italy) Milred Ikapel (USA), Kizito Ikapel and George Ikapel.

Brother to Lazarus Omoit, Leunita, Willimina, Theresa, Patrick, John Paul, Isaiah, Emanuel, Roseline, Didacus and Euphrasia.

Son in-law to Late Emmanuel Ikapyan and Ann Akochi (late).

Father-in-law to Godfrey Kirumbi and Massimo Maini and Jerusha Nyachogo.

Grandfather to William, Christine, Anthony, Stacy and Michele.

Cousin to Pascal Barasa (KBC), Fidelis Imamai,Anna Emodo, Imelda Itela, Michael Okumu among others.

Uncle to Hellen, Dush, John, Victor, Anthony, Janet, Phanie and Patrick among others.

The cortege leaves Life Care Mortuary, Bungoma on 6thJanuary 2023 at 10.00am for a memorial service at St. Rose of Lima Amukura Catholic Church and, later taken at his home Achunet Village, Katelenyang’ Sub location, Kaujakito Location, Amukura Division, Teso-South (Busia County) for the burial.
