Wilson Afwayi Yakhama

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Wilson Afwayi Yakhama.

Son of the late Lazarus Afwayi and Rebecca Misiribi.

He was the loving husband of Rose Yakhama and father of Lilian, Authur, Kristina, Sandra and the late Wycliffe. Father-in-law of Peter Okutoyi, Faith Afwayi and the late Ruth Afwayi.

He was the son in-law of the late Ezekiel and Zipproah Seddah.

Brother of the late Salome Makachela, Anna Andega, Rachel Amugamwa, the late Keffa Lijina, Phoebe Maleche, the late Sila Masaviri, Florence Achitsa, Paul Agoi, the late Esther lngado and the late Aggrey Avugana.

Loving grandfather of Adelaide, Ivan, Peter, Edward, Patricia, Frank, Imelda, Rose and Tim. Cousin, uncle and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Kakamega Mortuary on Friday I11th December 2025 ‘for burial Saturday 13th December 2025 at his home Shabwali. Shinyalu Kakamega.

Rest with the angels our great patriarch till we meet again.
