It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we wish to announce the passing on of Zainab Makokha Imo after a short illness.

Daughter to the late Juma Yusuf Siro and the late Mwanaisha Maende. Sister to the late Musa & Osman Makokha and Halima Were. Loving Mother to the late Eva Imo, late Deborah Imo, FranZisca Imo, Abraham Imo, Janet Imo, Mercy Maende Imo, Paul Imo, Christine Akudit Etemesi, Esther Dachit Imo and Rachel Imo. Mother in law to the late Erinei Mariba, Agnes Oriede, Andrew Asiba, Joyce Kamau, Kenneth Etemesi, Isaac Madegwa and Rashid ldi. Grandma of Beryl Were, Faith Makokha, Felix Imo, David Mwita, Paul Manga, Debbie Cynthia Ongiro, Majorie Gati, Melanie Asiba, Purity Makokha, Arnold Asiba, Davies Imo, Daniel Oyakapel, Deborah Boke, lana Makokha, Caesar Asiba, Anthony & Andrew Etemesi, Martin Imo, Amanda Tata, Leila Makokha, Janet lupai, Nathan Imo, Lemwel Madegwa, Fareed Rashid, Basra Rashid & Neylan Akudit. Doting great grandma to six great grandchildren.

Meetings are being held daily at her home in Kolanya. A fundraiser will be held on the 7th October at her home. Contribution can be sent to Mpesa Number 0724 658611.

The cortege leaves Life Care Hospital Bungoma on Friday 9th October at 10am. A funeral service will be held at Kolanya Salvation Army Church. Burial will be at her Omanikor Kakile home in Kolanya on the Saturday 10th October 2020 Teso North, Busia County.
