Loving Memory

1931 – 20th March 1997

“Death is nothing at all… I have only slipped into the next room.

I am I and you are you …

Whatever we were to each other that we are still

Call me by my old familiar name,

speak to me in the easy way which you always used.

Put no difference into your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorry.

Laugh as we always laughed, at the little jokes we enjoyed together.

Play, Smile, Think of me, Pray for me,

let my name be ever the household word that it always was.

Let it he spoken without effort, without the ghost of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is absolutely no unbroken continuity. What is this death but a neglible accident?

Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?

I am waiting for you for an interval somewhere very near just around the corner.”

All is Well – Amen

Days, weeks, months have turned into 19 years.

Though you are physically gone,

our loving memories of you can never fade away.

We still highly cherish your strength, generosity and vision.

The Entire Kahama Family would like to extend its sincere thanks to all those who have generously offered their support from then up to now.

None of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. Romans 14:7-9
