It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lawrence Mbugua Kahihu.

Son of the late Stephen Kahihu Mimi and the late Tabitha Njeri Kahihu. Husband of Charity Wanjiru Mbugua. Father of Caroline Njeri, the late Stephen Kahihu, Simon and Nancy Muchara, James and Stella Mimi, Fredrick and Esther Ndichu and Peter and Carol Richu.

Brother of the late James Mimi Kahihu, Esther Wahinya Kibera, Priscila Wanjiru Mbugua and Alice Wambui Njenga. Grandfather of Charity Ndichu, Lawrence Mbugua, Charity Mimi, Joy Wanjiru, Ian Gathu, Sharon Mueni, Lauren Wanjiru and Austin Mbugua.

Prayers and preparations are taking place at his home in Ting’ang’a, Kiambu, from 4pm daily.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 21st March 2017 at 9am for a funeral service at P.C.E.A Gituamba Church,Ting’ang’a, Kiambu County at 11am, thereafter burial at his farm Tin’gang’a Makenga.

 

Peter David Githitu (Umwe Witu)

It is with humble submission of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Peter David Githitu (Umwe Witu) on 15/03/2017 at Nairobi Women’s Hospital.

Son of the late Johana Githitu and Phylis Wangui Githitu. Husband of Racheal Njeri Githitu. Father of Alex Kagai Githitu, Charles Kimari Githitu, Samuel Kinyanjui Githitu and Leonard Mbugua Githitu. Grandfather of Eugene, Ignacius, Austin, Ryan, Regina, Stephen and Natalie. Father-in-law of Caroline Kagai, Zipporah Kinyanjui and Margaret Mbugua. Brother of the late Margaret Mwicigi, Ann Githiomi, Samuel Kinyanjui, the late Elizabeth Wanjiru, Fredrick Kabaiko and Elijah Chege. Friends and relative are meeting daily at his residence in Riruta Satellite from 4pm and at Norwich Union House from 6pm. There will be a fundraising on 8/4/2017 at St John the Baptist Riruta Catholic Church to offset medical bills.

The cortege leaves Nairobi Women’s Hospital Mortuary on 22/03/2017 at 7am followed by, a Funeral Service at St John the Baptist Riruta Catholic Church at 10am, hereafter burial at Githunguri (Nyanduma Location Karatina Kamungu (Village) at 2pm.

 

Rose Kaigongi Murithi

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Rose Kaigongi Murithi. Until her death. she was an employee of Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation – Mathira Tea Zone.

Wife of the late Dennis Murithi Kaburu. Mother of Clifford Mutethia Murithi of Kiambu. Daughter of Beatrice Ntong‘ondu and Mwalimu Andrew Ntong’ondu. Daughter in law of the late Kaburu and late Grace Kaburu. Sister of Anne. Franco, Stella, Dennis and Marion. Sister-in-law of Gacheri, Kananu, late Nkirote, Susan and Kimathi. Niece of Mr. & Mrs. Nchebere and Aunt of Fiona, Dan and Mwendwa among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Antubochiu Village – Igembe South and Kangoacheke Village in Meru Town for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege. leaves Nkubu Mission Hospital on Tuesday 21st March 2017 at 9am for funeral service and buriai at her farm in Kirua Village near Kirua Mission Hospital, Meru County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Stanley Kimata Gichiri on 15/ 03/2017 of Karia village, Rioki sub location, lkinu location, Githunguri Sub County. He was the third born son of the late Gichiri Wachira and Maria Nuna Gichiri. Brother of the late Wachira, the late Thuo and the late Ndua.

Loving husband of Mrs. Mary Mukami Kimata. Father of Margaret N Gituku & Ng’ang’a Gituku, Gichiri Kimata (KRA), Ngaruiya Kimata, Winnie K Kimata (USA), Grace Murugi & Sammy Maina (USA). Grandfather of Carol Ng’ang’a (USA), Wilson Ng’ang’a (USA), Kimata Ng’ang’a Gituku, Kimata Ngaruiya, Kathryn Mukami and Chloe & Hunter Maina among others.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are taking place at his home in Karia village everyday from 4:00 pm and at Mr & Mrs Nganga Gituku’s home at Gichungo Karen End at 7:00pm. The cortege leaves KU Mortuary on Thursday 23rd March 2017 at 9:00 am for church service at PCEA Karia Church starting at 11:00 am. The burial will take place hereafter at his farm in Ndabibi near Nyakiri Coffee Factory.

Loving wife of the late Washington Riungu. Loving mother of Betty Kagwiria, the late Rechael Gatwiri, Bethwel Mwenda, Faith Rinya Paul, Grace Kiende and David Mugambi. Daughter of the late Godfrey Kiugu and Edith Kiugu.

Daughter-in-law of the late Francis M’arimi and Agnes M’arimi. Sister-in-law of Pamela Nkatha M’arimi. Sister of Mr & Mrs Reuel Kirimi, Mr & Mrs Griffith Kiambi, Arnold Mbabu, Mr & Mrs Winlight Murinugi, Mr & Mrs Julius Kimathi, Mr & Mrs Moses Gitonga and Mr & Mrs Njagi Rucha. Relatives and friends are meeting at St. Andrews PCEA Nairobi, and at her home Gatakene Village daily as from Monday to Wednesday at 5.00 pm. for funeral and burial arrangements. Nairobi meeting on Monday will be held at San Valencia Restaurant and we revert to St. Andrews PCEA on Tuesday and Wednesday. Burial will take place on Thursday 23rd March 2017 at her home – Meru.
