Son of Mr. Stanley Wimbia Mundara and the late Hellen Waitherero Wimbia of Gacharaigu location, Kangema Sub-County, Murang`a County. Husband of Cecilia Mumbi Kiiru (Nyamachaki Primary School Nyeri), Father of Hellen Waitherero (Britain), Jackline Waguthii (JKUAT) and Dennis Munene (KEWI Kitui). Brother of the late Ainsworth Mundara, Hezron Wimbia (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock & Fisheries), Elizabeth Wimbia (U.S.A) and Catherine Wimbia (Machakos T.I.B). Son-in-law of Mr David Mwangi and the late Sinfronza Waguthii of Gatitu Nyeri. Uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend of many.

Father of Millicent Ogola (Safaricom), Irene Ogola-Mosi (Head Teacher Ayany Primary School), Peter Waga (Value Farms Management Services), Aggy Ogola (Basil Foods) Dan Ogola (Ogola Okello Advocates),TinaTamoi Morency (USA), Nashon Ajong’o – Pele (Moi Educational Centre) & Jerry Ogola (Bolyne International). Elder brother of Peter Esau Ogola and Margaret Ogola (NKU), and the late Jacob Ogola and Betty Afuma of (UK). Nephew of the Arigis and the Okembas, cousin of the Oguoks, Ajong’os, Wairomas, Opallas, Owalos. Brother in- law of Hellen, Meshack, Liz, Judy, the late David, Simeon, Paul, and Rose Murgor. Father-in-law of Mr. Ken Mosi (AMREF), Sharon Waga (Safaricom), the late Benta. Rina Akinyi (Nyar Gwassi), Mario Morency (USA), Anne Mawia (KSB), Ruth Ruguru (MSK) & Grandfather of many. He was in-law of the Kiplagat’s, the Ayodis, the Owisos, the Maithyas & the Thuraniras.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Railways Club (Uhuru Park) on 1st & 2nd March, 2017. There will be a fundraising on Friday 3rd & Tuesday 7th March 2017 at All Saints Cathedral to offset medical bills.

There will be a funeral service on Thursday 9th March at 2pm at All Saints Cathedral.

Burial will take place on Saturday 11th March 2017 at Ogam village, Nyamonye, Yimbo Siaya County.

We regret to announce the death of Dorothy Naisiaye Keriasek (Nakuru County) on 22nd February 2017 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late James Keriasek and the late Grace Wakanyi Keriasek. She was married to John Mutai (TASS) and devoted mother of Stephen Siameto and mother-in-law of Leah.

Sister of Elizabeth Siameto Gitonga, the late Philis Muthoni, the late Memusi, the late Mbogo and the late Timothy.

Sister-in-law of Daniel Kamau, Teresia Memusi, Simon Gitonga and Rose.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Pangani USAID estate in Nakuru from 4:00pm. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on 3rd March 2017 at 9:00am for requiem mass at 10am at St. Joseph TheWorker and thereafter laid to rest at the Nakuru South Cemetery

It is with profound sadness and great pain that we announce the untimely death of His Excellency Governor Nderitu Gachagua, on Friday, 24th February, 2017, while undergoing treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, United Kingdom. He was the respected Governor of Nyeri County. Beloved son of the late Mzee Nahashon Gachagua Reriani & Martha Kirigo Gachagua. Husband of Margaret Nyokabi & Margaret Waithiegeni. Father of Susan Kirigo Maina & Joe Maina, Mercy Wanjira Early & William Timothy Early, Ken Gachagua and Jason Kariuki. Grandfather of Sean Maina and Judah Ikeno Robert Early. Brother of James Reriani & Francisca Wambui, Johnson Kibaara & Charity Gathoni, Peterson Wachira & Anna Njeri, Jackson Reriani & Priscilla Wambui, the late Dr. Fred Wachira & Grace Nyawira, Rigathi Gachagua & Pastor Dorcas Wanjiku, Leah Wangari & Peterson Muriuki Gatata, Eunice Nyangari, Dr. Josephine Wangari (PhD) & Christopher Wanjaria, Dr. Gacheke Simons (PhD) & Scott Simons, Lilian Wamuyu Wachira & Mark Wachira Irani and Linda Muthoni Ngatia & Ngatia Mwangi.

Prayers are being held daily from 5:30 pm at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi from Tuesday, the 28th of February to Friday the 3rd of March 2017, from 3pm at the late Governor Gachagua’s Residence in Hiriga and from 4 pm at his Ring Road Residence in Nyeri Town. His body will be leaving London on Wednesday the 1st of March 2017 at 5:35 pm aboard Kenya Airways, arriving on Thursday the 2nd of March 2017 at 5am from where it will be taken to Lee Funeral Home.

Friends and supporters who may want to meet his body are welcome to do so at the Lee Funeral home at 6:30 am. The funeral service will take place on Monday the 6th of March, 2017 at his home in Hiriga village, Ngorano location, Mathira West sub-county, Nyeri county. It will begin promptly at 11am and all mourners are requested to be seated by 10am.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral home at 7am.

It is with profound shock and deep sadness that we announce the passing on of Caroline Wairimu Wanjihia on Sunday 26th February 2017. She was the daughter of the late William Kimemia and the late Mary Kimemia.

Beloved mother of Nyawera & Lucas Kibuka, Chihia Wanjihia and Nonnie & Edward Burbidge. Cucu of Wairimu Kibuka, Marang’a (Tosh) Kibuka, Harry (Wolffy) Burbidge and Wambui Wairimu (Nims) Kibuka. Sister to Joe & Rosemary Kimemia, Evelyn & Lincoln Bailey, Jaine & Sam Mwai, Angie & Frank Ireri and Aida & Eric Nesbitt. Aunt and friend to many.

Raojibhai Rambhai Patel of Vadadla has peacefully passed away at his home. Beloved husband of late Shantalaxmi Raojibhai Patel, and the devoted father of Pramilaben, Maheshbhai, the late Pradipbhai (Export Trading Group) and Bharatbhai (Vegpro).

An affectionate Father-in-law of Rupaben, Jyotiben, Sejalben and Late Dineshkumar Patel, as well as a doting Grandfather of Visha, Kesha, Jai, Birju, Disha, Nina,Vandan, Parin and Sarju. Warm and welcoming Grandfather-in-law of Khushboo, Kavita,Yoann and Devanshi, and an extremely proud Great-grandfather of Sarav, Shaun, Rayen, Kiyaan and Nikaya Shanta.

The funeral cortege will depart from Wood Garden Road, off Wood Avenue (off Arwings Kodhek Road) today Wednesday, 1st of March 2017 at 1pm.

The funeral will be held at the Hindu Crematorium, Kariokor at 2pm. Prayers will follow at BAPS Swaminarayan Temple Haveli, Forest Road, Nairobi today, Wednesday the 1st March 2017 at 7:30pm.

Grandmother of Cyril and Gabby. Mother-in-law of Stephane Nicolau. Sister of the late Julia Nekesa, the late Musa, the late Celina, the late Janet, Esther, the late Henry, Brenda and the late Joseph Akuloba.

Friends and Family will be meeting at the Railway Club on 27th February 2017. There will be a fundraising at the Railway Club Nairobi Lon 28th February 2017 from 5.30pm to offset medical expenses.

1st Anniversary

It is now one year since you left us to be with the Lord. We are grateful to God for the time we spent together.

Your good and humble spirit lives forever in our hearts.

Thank you Dad for your unending sacrifices, kindness, wisdom, sense of humour and undying love for us. You are a blessing and a hero to us and we shall forever treasure you.

There was a Memorial Service and Unveiling of the Cross at ang’ata Cemetery at 11am on February 24, 2017.

Since that day we have tried to hold back our tears but many are times we overcome with your sweet and great memories, your lovely smile and gracious heart, you loved us unconditionally and we too love you beyond words. Your open Minded nature made it easy for us to live our days and age, and we will forever be grateful. You bequeathed us rich legacy of hard work, integrity and incomparable generosity; we know life will never be the same again .You were a true blessing and precious gift from God and we thank Him for those treasured years though short. You made us live a maximum life and you gave us the best you could. Memorial mass will be celebrated at his home Kisau division, Tulimani location, Makueni County on Saturday 25th February 2017 at 11am.
