We regret to announce the death of Dorothy Naisiaye Keriasek (Nakuru County) on 22nd February 2017 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late James Keriasek and the late Grace Wakanyi Keriasek. She was married to John Mutai (TASS) and devoted mother of Stephen Siameto and mother-in-law of Leah.

Sister of Elizabeth Siameto Gitonga, the late Philis Muthoni, the late Memusi, the late Mbogo and the late Timothy.

Sister-in-law of Daniel Kamau, Teresia Memusi, Simon Gitonga and Rose.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Pangani USAID estate in Nakuru from 4:00pm. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on 3rd March 2017 at 9:00am for requiem mass at 10am at St. Joseph TheWorker and thereafter laid to rest at the Nakuru South Cemetery

It is with profound sadness and great pain that we announce the untimely death of His Excellency Governor Nderitu Gachagua, on Friday, 24th February, 2017, while undergoing treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, United Kingdom. He was the respected Governor of Nyeri County. Beloved son of the late Mzee Nahashon Gachagua Reriani & Martha Kirigo Gachagua. Husband of Margaret Nyokabi & Margaret Waithiegeni. Father of Susan Kirigo Maina & Joe Maina, Mercy Wanjira Early & William Timothy Early, Ken Gachagua and Jason Kariuki. Grandfather of Sean Maina and Judah Ikeno Robert Early. Brother of James Reriani & Francisca Wambui, Johnson Kibaara & Charity Gathoni, Peterson Wachira & Anna Njeri, Jackson Reriani & Priscilla Wambui, the late Dr. Fred Wachira & Grace Nyawira, Rigathi Gachagua & Pastor Dorcas Wanjiku, Leah Wangari & Peterson Muriuki Gatata, Eunice Nyangari, Dr. Josephine Wangari (PhD) & Christopher Wanjaria, Dr. Gacheke Simons (PhD) & Scott Simons, Lilian Wamuyu Wachira & Mark Wachira Irani and Linda Muthoni Ngatia & Ngatia Mwangi.

Prayers are being held daily from 5:30 pm at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi from Tuesday, the 28th of February to Friday the 3rd of March 2017, from 3pm at the late Governor Gachagua’s Residence in Hiriga and from 4 pm at his Ring Road Residence in Nyeri Town. His body will be leaving London on Wednesday the 1st of March 2017 at 5:35 pm aboard Kenya Airways, arriving on Thursday the 2nd of March 2017 at 5am from where it will be taken to Lee Funeral Home.

Friends and supporters who may want to meet his body are welcome to do so at the Lee Funeral home at 6:30 am. The funeral service will take place on Monday the 6th of March, 2017 at his home in Hiriga village, Ngorano location, Mathira West sub-county, Nyeri county. It will begin promptly at 11am and all mourners are requested to be seated by 10am.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral home at 7am.

Sister to Joe & Rosemary Kimemia, Evelyn & Lincoln Bailey, Jaine & Sam Mwai, Angie & Frank Ireri and Aida & Eric Nesbitt. Aunt and friend to many.

Raojibhai Rambhai Patel of Vadadla has peacefully passed away at his home. Beloved husband of late Shantalaxmi Raojibhai Patel, and the devoted father of Pramilaben, Maheshbhai, the late Pradipbhai (Export Trading Group) and Bharatbhai (Vegpro).

An affectionate Father-in-law of Rupaben, Jyotiben, Sejalben and Late Dineshkumar Patel, as well as a doting Grandfather of Visha, Kesha, Jai, Birju, Disha, Nina,Vandan, Parin and Sarju. Warm and welcoming Grandfather-in-law of Khushboo, Kavita,Yoann and Devanshi, and an extremely proud Great-grandfather of Sarav, Shaun, Rayen, Kiyaan and Nikaya Shanta.

The funeral cortege will depart from Wood Garden Road, off Wood Avenue (off Arwings Kodhek Road) today Wednesday, 1st of March 2017 at 1pm.

The funeral will be held at the Hindu Crematorium, Kariokor at 2pm. Prayers will follow at BAPS Swaminarayan Temple Haveli, Forest Road, Nairobi today, Wednesday the 1st March 2017 at 7:30pm.

Friends and Family will be meeting at the Railway Club on 27th February 2017. There will be a fundraising at the Railway Club Nairobi Lon 28th February 2017 from 5.30pm to offset medical expenses.

Brother of the late Peter Kioi, the late Margaret Njui, the late Tabitha Ngige and the late Daniel Gitau. Brother in law to Peter Gakumo, the late George Gakumo, Charles Ndung’u, John Warui, James Njoroge, Samuel Njoroge, Emma Njoroge, Agnes Gichohi, Reuben Warui, Miriam Wanjiru and Benson Njuguna. Uncle and grandfather of many. The body is lying at General Kago Funeral Home at Thika level 5 Hospital. The Funeral Service and burial will take place on Tuesday, 28th February 2017 at his home in Eden Farm, Karibaribi, Thika from 11.00 a.m.

Meetings are going on at Deliverance Church Ngong’ Road (Hazina Sacco Compound) in Nairobi, on Kibera Road, entry at the first Shell Petrol Station on your left coming from town from 5.30 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday of this week and at his home in Karibaribi, Thika daily from 3.00 p.m.
