Your memories are still fresh, your smile and laughter still linger on and your reassuring look keeps us going. You left your footprints which we still follow in this path of life. It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our dear son Samuel Njoroge Wanyaga of NIBS College Ruiru campus on 15th May 2017 after accidentally drowning in a BTL swimming pool in Ruiru.

Son of WilliamWanyaga Gitau and Hannah Mwihaki Wanyaga (Willhag Contractors) of Murera Ruiru. Brother of Esther Wanjiku of Gatura Girls’ and Victor Gitau of Shakaina Presbyterian Primary School. Grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gitau Wanyaga from Kigumo Kiambu county and Ms Esther Wanjiru Kaberu from Gitombo B Kiambu County. He was Nephew of Catherine Gathiga Mwangi, Beth Njeri, Gilbert Mbugua, Edith Wanjiku, Monicah Wambui, John Kiarie, Samuel Njoroge among others.

Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at his father’s home in Murera Coffee Ruiru as from 5:30pm.

There will be a memorial service at PCEA Mukuyu, Ebenezer Parish on Sunday 21st May 2017 as from 3:30pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 23rd May 2017 at 8:00am for a funeral service at PCEA Kigumo Church and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his grandfather’s home in Kigumo village, Komothai Kiambu County.

Son of the late Francis Ndwiga (Mivari) and Charity Wanjoka Ndwiga. Husband of Cecilia Gateri Njururi and father of Newton Njururi and Mitchell Mwendi Njururi. Funeral arrangement is taking place at his Gakwegori home, where family, relatives and friends are meeting daily while KSG employees meet on weekdays at 5pm at the Lecturer’s Lounge. The burial will be on Monday 22nd May 2017 at Gakwegori Village starting at 10am.

It is with deep sorrow, that the Ngure family announces the passing on of Aurelia Majindiri Ngure of Thika, who passed away on the 14th of May, 2017 at Mater Hospital Nairobi after 15 weeks in ICU, having developed post-surgical complications.

She was a widow of the late Dr Stephen Nicholas Ngure. Mother of Michael, Ian, Jennifer (Department of Agriculture – Murang’a), Peggy and Winnie Ngure (both of San Francisco California). Grandmother to Stephanie Aurelia Mutesi, Inneza Lopes and Eddie Mutinda. Sister to Stephania Gatoya of Nyagatare, Rwanda, the late Peter Sebutsure and the late Augustine Gatengezi. Sister-in-law to Mrs Karen Thingo Kanari of Nairobi Kenya, Mr Cyrus Komo of Francisco USA and the late Joseph Nginyo of Ting’ang’a Kiambu.

Prayers and planning meetings are being held from 7:00-9:00pm, at Kiboko Estate in Thika to organise the Funeral Arrangements.
