Mother of Amos Gathungu, Jonathan Wairuhi, Edna Njoki, and Rosemary Wangeci, all of USA.

Grandmother of Nikita Wangari, Elysia Wangari, Eryn Wairuhi, Josephine Njeri, Elizabeth Wangui and Jomo Matimu. Mother-in-Law of Heather Marie Wairuhi and Michael Chege. (All of the USA).

Sister of Edith Muthoni, late Grace Wanjiru, Charity Wanjiku, Samuel Mutiga, James Wanjama, Joseph Machira, Charles Mukere, the late Rosemary Nyawira and Joshua Wangombe.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Joyce Awour Odhianabo, formerly of KRA, which occurred at the Mater Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late JR Odhiambo Obalo and Agneta Apidi of Barkanyango, Kasau. She was sister of Dorothy, Rose, Michael, Ben, Charles, the late David, Eric and Susan.

She was wife of Tobias Oluoch, dear mother of Dr. Julie Oluoch- Konan (Naivasha Subcounty Hospital), Jeremy Otieno (KRA) and Collins Odhiambo (Kigali, Rwanda), mother in law of Yannick, Elizabeth and Amicale. She was a loving grandmother of Bianca, Kimberly, Kaylee, Mauh hissan, Angie and Asher.

She was a daughter in law of Samuel Obola Okal and Miriam Oketch of Nyakach, Agoro. She was sister in law of Benson, Martin, Bevon,Tom, Lameck, Lilly, Leaky, Robert and the late Peter Otieno.

There will be prayers and major fundraising meeting at her home in Kitengela, Mali Mali, after Karima farm, on Friday 1st May 2026 from 12.00noon.

There will be a funeral service on Tuesday 5th May 2026 at Karengata SDA Church.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Thursday 7th May 2026 for burial at her home, Kabondo, Oriang on Friday 8th May 2026.

She was the beloved wife of Ephantus Kithinji M’Arimi (retired Kenya Power Technician), loving mother of Kevin Mutugi and Mary; Ian Muthuri and Susan Wairimu; and Earnest Karani and cherished sister of Josphat Miriti, Beth Thambu, Zacharia Kirimi, late Jane Gacuka, late Agnes John, lace Justine Mbaya, late Juliet Kithinji and late Franklin Thuranira and Agnes Karegi.

Sister in law of Eng. Julius Riungu and Rosemary Riungu, Dr. Elijah and Dr Catherine Kirimi, Rachel Kainda and Muiruri, Kajuju, late Elias and Carol Gitonga, late Mbaabu and Christine Mbaabu.

Kellen was a dedicated nurse who worked for the Government of Kenya for many years before her retirement at Kanyakine Level 4 Hospital. She was also a committed Christian and a member of the Holiness and Repentance Ministry, Kanyakine Church.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching & Referral Hospital Funeral Home (Kahawa West) on 5th May 2026 for the funeral service and thereafter burial at her home in Gaturumbari Village, Kanyakine location, Meru County.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Nairobi and her home in Meru from 5:30p,rn for prayers and burial preparations.

She will be remembered for her humility, dedication, and unwavering faith. Her legacy of service and kindness will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

There will be a requiem mass and overnight vigil at her Kanamai residence on Friday 8th May 2026 starting from 3.00pm.

There will be a funeral service at the Bible Way Ministries Church Mtwapa at 10.00am on Saturday 9th May 2026 followed by the burial at Kongowea — Kisauni Cemetery.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) Management announces the untimely demise of Mr. Wilson Galana Malibe following a tragic accident in Lamu after a wall collapsed on him on 9th April 2026 and he succumbed to the injuries at King Fahad Hospital, Lamu. He was an employee of Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) stationed at Lamu County.

He was a son of Galana Marko Malibe and Leana Hasera Galana.

He was a husband of the late Jane Mukeabwoya Gafo, Beatrice Tabu Nzai and Belinda Habona Robert. He was father of the late Hasera Malibe, Heston Galana Malibe, the late Bubu Malibe, Joseph Galana Malibe., Erick Bubu Malibe and grandfather of Liam Malibe Erick.

He was also a brother of Sara Maneno Galana, the late Bubu Galana, Janet Makosa Galana, the late Esther Hagayana Galana, Peris Habwoya Galana, Caroline Haluwa Galana and Sarnwel Hiribae Galana.

Son of the late Kharemwa Sichangi Chaka and the late Veronica Khamusafu, and son-in-law of the late Agosta Mecca and late Esther Nabisino of Chesamisi.

He is survived by his children Judith Sitawa Murumba (formerly of LDK), Joseph Sichangi (Misanga), Jane Mwikhuwa Sichangi (formerly ofTelkom-KPTC), George Namasaka Sichangi (Sichangi Partners-Advocates, Director-Company Secretary Kedong Ranch Ltd; Chairman- Waumini Insurance Brokers Ltd; & Founder- Wengi Economic Forums), Peter Wafula Sichangi (National Police Service), Sella Wekesa Wanangwe (Safaricom), Irene Sitawa Makobi, and Augustine Meccah Sichangi (ChasingSun Technologies).

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Elder Charles Ongogu Masea of Enamba Central SDA Church. He passed away on 8th April 2026 after a short illness.

He served his community with dedication as Chairman of Gakero Farmers Co-operative Society, Nyagenke Primary School and Gakero Boarding Primary School. He also held the position of Treasurer at Nyagenke Secondary School and on the boards of many other institutions.

He was the beloved husband of Mary Rabera Ongogu and loving father of Gladys Ongogu (Nairobi), Joses Ongogu (Kitengela), Sarah Ongogu (Kisii), Isaiah Ongogu (USA), Dennis Ongogu (Mombasa) and Danford Ongogu (Nyamira).

A cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, he was father-in-law of Wakiii Nyabena, Hyline, Patrick, Vane, Marianne and Ezna.

He was brother of the late Peter Masea, the late James Otieno, Joash Masea and Alice Biyaki.

The cortege will leave Kisii Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Thursday, 23rd April 2026 at 11:00 a.m. for the funeral mass and burial on Friday, 24th April 2026 at Bomachoge Chache, Misesi Sub-location, Nyagenke Village.

Dr. Maingi was a dedicated Veterinary Doctor who served in the Government of Kenya for many years before his retirement. He was also a committed Christian and a member of P.C.E.A. Molo Town Church.

The cortege will leave PNN Funeral Home (Nakuru) on 24th April 2026 for the funeral service at P.C.E.A. Michatha Turi Ward, thereafter burial at his Michatha Farm in Molo.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Esther Njeri Njoroge which occurred on Wednesday 15th April, 2026 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Ernest Njoroge Gachie and the late Maria Muthoni. She was a sister of William Gachie of Ngong (Transgen) and sister-in-law of Rachel Gachie (Ngong).

She was an aunt of Mary Gachie (Laikipia University), Lilian Gachie (LifeCare Hospitals), Angela Gachie (St. Nicholas School), Stephen Gachie (Epsilon Capital) and Esther Gachie (Epsilon Capital). She was also a grandmother of John Kimotho and Jedidiah Mwihaki.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5.00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements at Utalii village along Thika road and at the brother’s residence in Ngong.

Burial will be at Ngurweini Village, Kandara sub-county, Murang’a County on Friday, 24th April, 2026. The cortege will leave Montezuma Kabati at 9.00 a.m. for requiem mass at Githigi Secondary School and thereafter burial at the neighbouring family home.

She was the beloved daughter of Dr George Anthony Ombakho and Beatrice Musilivi Shitambasi and loving sister of Jesse Ombakho, Dr Elsie Ombakho, Florah Ombakho, and Mercy Ombakho.

Edna was a maternal granddaughter of Loise Mmbali and the late Gideon Shitambasi of Shamiloli Village, Mukulusu sub-Location, Murhanda Location, Shinyalu sub-County, Kakamega County and paternal granddaughter of the late Michael Odero Oyeyo and the late Flora Masakhwe Odero, of Randago Village, Bukhakalire sub-Location, Marachi Central Location, Butula sub-County, Busia County.

The late Edna was a niece of CPA Eliud Oyeyo (USA), Redempta Madiro, CPA Mary Ingunyi Odongo (MCA, Busia County), Hillary Wafubwa, Hellen Sirima, Late Ignatius Matsotso and CPA Vivian Lukoba.

Similarly, Edna was a lovely niece of Velma Ayuma, Aggrey Muteshi, Patrick, Ronald, Samuel, Michael, Late Everline, Roseline, Ramona and Laura Shitambasi, and a cousin to many.

There will be a Memorial Service at the Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Chapel, Raila Odinga Way, Nairobi, on Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026 at 10 am.

We regret to inform you that Master Jabali Mboya Mwathi passed away on 6th April 2026. He was the loving son of Anne Adhiambo Mboya and Patrick Mwathi Njoroge. He was born on 23rd December, 2025 ahead of his March 2026 due date.

Master Jabali showed a determined strength from the beginning and his early days were spent under close medical care as he continued to grow steadily. He faced a short illness with quiet strength surrounded by family until the. end. Though his time with us was short, Jabali was deeply loved. He brought immense joy to his family from the moment he arrived. He leaves behind his sisters, Nadia and Kyla, and his brother, Shawn. He will also be dearly missed by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and all who prayed for and loved him.

The funeral will be held on 10th April 2026 at Gilgil farm.
