Mpapa, it has been a year since you went to be with the Lord. We are always in touch with your spirit and the fond memories will forever live in our hearts.

Even though we loved you and wish you could have lived longer, the Lord loved you even more.

The lessons, attributes, values and guidance we learnt from you are invaluable and worth every moment we shared.

You are greatly missed by your wife Rosemary, children; Saruni and Prisca, Godfrey and Winnie, Alex and Ruth, Fred and Faith, Jayne and Joseph Tuya, Aurelia, Saitoti and Eva. Grandchildren; Terian, Sokoine, Lenkai, Lemashon, Letia, Tenteyia, Oloisula, Oloserian, Manta,Tayio,Tinina, lssata, Soipei and Resian.

A memorial service in your honour will be held at home in Morijo Loita on the 2nd of June 2017.

John Kisumbi Musyoki

1920 – 16/05/2017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the promotion to glory of John Kisumbi Musyoki of Katune village, Mulala location, Makueni County on 16th of May 2017 at the age of 97.

Son of the late Mr and Mrs Musyoki Makoma, Husband of late Kavenyi Kisumbi. Father of Paulo, Kyale, Katumi, Sarah and late Mukenyi. He is survived by 26 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Father-in-law of Nduku, Dr. Kisumbi, Muli and Kamau.

Family and friends are meeting daily at AIC Ngong’ Road Church (Adams Arcade) from 5.30 – 7.00pm for funeral arrangements. The cortege will leave Montenzuma Funeral Home Mbagathi Way on Wednesday 24th May 2017 at 6.30am for burial at his home near Emali town starting from 11am.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Mrs. Margaret Jepkorir Kibogy on 17th May, 2017. She was a beloved wife to the Late Jonathan Lemiso Kibogy. Mother to George Kibet, Sandra Jematia, David Kiprono,Jannette jepkoech, Clinton Kipkosgei and Daniel Kipkemei. Grandmother to Melanie, Martin, Mark, Salaton, Skylar, Abbey and Baby Andrew. Mother-in -law to Emma, Caleb Tyongik and Victor Bargoria. Daughter to the Late Isaiah Chesire and the Late Mama Elizabeth Kobilo Chesire. Daughter in law to the Late John Kiplagat Kibogy and the Late Alice Jemaiyo Kibogy.

Wife of Mr. Wilson Muteru (Githurai 44). Daughter of Javan Njeru and Kelen Wanjiru of Kimangaru Village, Embu County. Loving mother of Lily Njeri, Sally Wanjiru and Yvonne Nyokabi. Grandmother of Daniella, Keegan, Garvin and Kryshana. Sister of James Njeru — Ministry of Water (Kakamega), Jane Njeru (formerly Telcom Kenya), Phyllis Njeru – Ministry of Health (Namibia), Eunice Njeru — Ministry of Health (Malaria Control Programme), Dr. Sophia Njeru Machakos University and Nancy Njeru (Nanoh) — Government Press. The Cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home today Saturday, 20th May, 2017 for a Requiem Mass at Queen Mary Catholic Church, Githurai at 10am.

She will e buried at the Lang’ata Cemetry, Nairobi County at 2p.m.

Joseph Aiyabei Cheboswony

It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the demise of Retired teacher Joseph Aiyabei Cheboswony of Chepkanga and Kimoning village, which occurred on 11th May 2017 at MTRH.

Son of the late Chebii Cheboswony, the late Sokome Cheboswony and late Magrina Cheboswony. Husband of the late Elizabeth Aiyabei and Scolla Aiyabei. Father of Emmy, Regina, Ben, Constance, Isabella, Pauline, Virginia, Micah, Joyce, Gladys, John, Abraham, Margret, Timothy and Caroline. Brother of Luka, the late Grace, Helena, Salina, Isaac, Jeptarus, Reuben, Paul, Monica, Jelagat and Jeptum. Son in law of the late Cherono Chebii of Katalel and the late Chepkirui Kwambai of Simotwo village. He left behind 34 grandchildren.

The cortege leaves MTRH mortuary on Friday 19.5.2017 at 12noon for prayers at St Joseph’s Catholic Church – Chepkanga, thereafter the body will leave for Lelit home for an overnight vigil.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 20.5.2017.

Family and friends will be meeting at Garden Square Nairobi and also at their home at Corner Ka Yona near Chulaimbo Secondary School for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a memorial service at Kambui PCEA Church Ngewa location, Githunguri sub-county, Kiambu County on 23rd May, 2017 at 12noon and later a fundraising at Garden Square (Nairobi) at 5.00 p.m.

Former teacher at Jalaram Academy Kisumu and previously Kisumu Boys’ High School. Daughter of the late Zephaniah Odhiambo Olewo and Mama Prisca Aloo. Step daughter of Consolata and Lucy.

Wife of the late Peter Onyango Musira. Dearest mother of Salome Musira, Lucy Musira, Agnes Musira and Grace Musira. Sister of Dr. Luther Otieno (UoN), Jane Otieno, Jennifer Akeyo (UoN), Caren Omondi, John Odhiambo, Eng. Francis Ooko (SONY), Atieno, Akinyi and Adhiambo. Mother-in-law of Chris Isom and Martin Odie. Doting grandmother of Evans, Kevin, Shammah, Jeremy, Pete and Ira. Loving aunty and grandmother of many.

There will be a fundraiser at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi, at 2pm on Saturday 20th May, and at St. Stephen’s Cathedral Kisumu on Tuesday 23rd May (Mpesa Paybill No. 822368, Acc Name Milca).

There will be a funeral service on Friday, 26th May at the old St. Stephen’s Cathedral Kisumu at 11am.

Burial will be on Saturday 27th May from 10am at her home in Ulumba village, Ugenya – after Ugunja Centre and before Ligega.
