Wife of the late Paul Joseph Gathii of Murang’a County, Gitige Village. A loving mother of Gladwell and Anthony Gathii, Aida and Gideon Mwai, the late Betty and Arthur Gathii, the late Joyce and Alex Ngarachu, Mary and the late George Gathii, Faith and Hon. David Wakairu Murathe, Anne and David Gathii, Carol and   Joshua Mimano. Sister of Robert Muthui, Lydia Gathii Njeri and the late Phillip Gacheru, all from Kahuhia Village, Murang’a. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral Church at 5.00p.m starting Tuesday 16th May and at their home in Gitige Village.

Daughter of the late Francis and Brigitta Osena. Wife of the late Simeon Mathias Ogwel. Beloved Mama of John and Pastor Pamela Ogwel, the late Larry Ogwel, Beatrice Ogwel, Louis Ogwel, Maureen Ogwel and Jayne Ogwel. Survived by Sister Christine Onyango, Sister of the late Idda Imbaya, Clara Adhiambo, Paul Osena and Magdaline Were. Aunt of many, Dana of Sharon and Kevin Matu, Dennis, Naomi and Emmanuel Ogwel among others. Great granny of Daniel and Zoey Matu among others.

Family friends and well wishers are convening for meetings at Kariakor Block A1 Door 2 from 5:00pm daily. There will be a funds drive on Tuesday 16th May from 5:00pm at Kariakor. Requiem Mass will be held at the Consolata Shrine, Westlands on Thursday 18th May at 10am. Burial will be at her home next Asango Primary School, Uholo location, Ugunja District on Saturday 20th May, 2017.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Patrick Daniel Katee on 9th May, 2017 in Nairobi after a long battle with chronic kidney disease, formerly of Kenya Airways and former Secretary General of the Karatedo Association of Kenya.

Son of the late Senior Chief Katee wa Ndana and the late Vivi Katee. Husband of the late Winfrida Mueni Katee. Loving father of Hillary Katee, Martin Katee, Emilio Ndana, Kenneth Katee, Lilian Katee and Anthony Mbuvi. Son-in-law of the late Mwikali Nzoka. Father-in-law of Virginia Kahia, Beth Kamau and Rachel Ndinda. Brother of Paul, David, Moses Katee among others. The Archdiocese of Nairobi announces the death of Rev. Fr. Joseph Mwangi Rugano formerly of Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Parish, Makadara.

Son of the late Fredrick Rugano and Teresia Waithira Rugano. Brother of John Macharia, Henry Gicheru, Rosemary Njeri, Raphael Waboro, late Monica Wangui, Christopher Muiruri and Jane Wangechi. Uncle of Imelda, Paychomius, Nyambu, Rugano, Emma and Waithera.

Masses shall be celebrated at their family home near Kiriko Parish on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday at 4pm. There will also be Masses at Our Lady of Visitation Parish, Makadara on Tuesday (6.00pm.),Wednesday (4.00pm.) and Thursday (6.00pm).

The Requiem Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Msongari grounds on Friday, 19th May 2017 at 10.30am.

Thereafter interment at Msongari Clergy Cemetery.
