Beatrice Njoki Mutahi

I 93 I – 10th May, 20 17    It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Beatrice Njoki Mutahi that occurred peacefully on 10th May, 2017. Wife of the late James Mutahi Wang’ondu, daughter of the late Thambiri Githaiga and Wangui Thambiri. Mother of Bildad Maina (Kagia), Edith Wambui, Lucy Wangui, Winnie Wangari, the late Wilson Mwangi, Elder Agnes Mwonjoria, John Wang’ondu and Charles lrungu. Mother-in-law of Lydia Mumbi, Kinyua Gathuku, Clement Kiragu, Bernard Karoki, Martha Wanjiru, Dr. Nelson Wachira of Thika and Catherine Wangari. Grandmother and great-grandmother of many. Sister of Kibugi, Kang’ara and Mwai (all late). Friends and relatives are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home Giathugu and Dr. Wachira’s home Kiboko estate Thika. The cortege leaves jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina on Wednesday 17/5/2017 at 8am. The funeral service will be at PCEA Giathugu Church at 10am and thereafter burial will be at her home Kiawaichang’i village Igana sub-location, Giathugu location Mukurwe-ini Nyeri.
