It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Commissionaire I, Dominic Makori which occurred on 3rd May 2017.

Born in 1971 to the late Daniel Ontiri-Nyakondo and the Late Marita Kwamboka at Nyanderema Village, Nyaguta Sub-Location, Kiogoro Location, Kisii County.

Son-in-law of Ayiema and late Nyanchoka. Husband of Truphena Barongo. They were blessed with three children Violet (Nyaguta Sec), Ontiri and Timothy. He was a brother of Meshack Omar (NYS Naivasha), Agnes Kemunto, James Mangaro. Step brother of Christopher Aruya (Nakuru DC office), Late Sanduku, Kemunto, Nyakerarerio, late Norah, Tabitha, Susan, Gesare and Annah.

The cortege leaves Christamarrine hospital mortuary Kisii on 16th May 2017 and the burial will be held on 17th May 2017 at his home, Nyanderema Village, Nyaguta Sub location, Kiogoro ward, Kisii County.

Two years ago this day, you left us to be with the Lord. It’s a day we would like to forget when God chose to take you home. I and our children stood beside your hospital bed in silence while watching Doctors and Nurses struggling to save your life.

Nobody knew that your journey in this world had come to an end and only God knew that hidden secret. Life has never been the same again since you left us and your absence has been really felt and it has hit us hard.

Although you are gone, you will always be in our hearts. We dream of the joyful time when we shall be united once again in the Kingdom of God in Heaven.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of retired teacher. Elder Samuel Mwaniki Wachira after a long illness. Husband of Peris Muthoni.

Father of late Lawrence Wachira, Tom (Takim), Jane (Social Westlands), Dickson Mwaniki (Thika), Wanjugu (Flamingo Shop Mwea), Nderitu and Wangui. Father in law of Rose, Mod, John Wacira, Anne Kabera, Philip Kariuki, Alice Njambu and Ephrahim Theuri. Brother of Nyaruai Kimani and all late: Nyagitare, Kabera, Wathi, Wangui, Cera and Mutahi. Grandfather of many.

Venue for today’s and tomorrow’s meeting will be at St Andrew’s PCEA Church Hall in Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Tumu Tumu Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 17th Mary 2017 at 8am for funeral service at Kianjogu PCEA Church at 9am and thereafter burial at his Kianjogu Farm.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Paul M Mumo former Educationist and former director of Kenya National Library Service that occurred on the 11th of May 2017 at Nairobi Women’s Hospital Adam’s after a short illness.

Loving husband of Dorothy Mumo, father of Nancy Mumo (Ketraco), grandfather of Irene Ndinda, Saleem Mwendwa, Victor Mutiso (I&M) and Kilonzo Musau. Son of the late-Sevisaac Mumo Ngei and Late Tabitha Mumbua. Brother of the Late Daniel.M.Musau, Phillip Mumo, amongst many others. Uncle of Dr Charies Nzivo (KNLS), Kilonzo Phillip (Action Aid), Uthasyo, Johnson.M.Musau, Tony. K. Musau and Mumo Musau, Annalisa Mbula (Barclays) amongst many others.

Family and friends are meeting at Nyayo Stadium Cafeteria and Machakos T Tot Hotel and at home in Kinyambu from 6pm starting Monday 15-05-2017 to plan for the funeral.

There will be a fund raising to off set his medical bill on Thursday 18th May 2017.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mary Wanjiru Thuku which occurred on Wednesday 10th May, 2017 in Kenya. She was sister to ROSE KIM of Revival House Church, London. Winnie Wanjiku Mbugua

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing on of Winnie Wanjiku Mbugua.

Winnie passed away on Wednesday the 10th of May 2017 after a short illness. She was the daughter of Kamau Kinyahwe and the late Teresia Wanjuhi. Mother to; Cindy Wanjuhi, Joy Wambui, Tracy Wanjuhi, and Cathy Njeri Sister to, Nancy Nduta, Ben Kinyahwe (Biggie), Jane Wangui (Wakamau), Sarah Wairimu, Eunice Wangari (Wathuo) of London, The late Annie Njeri, and Alice Muthoni Gichangi (Mso) of London. She is also the cousin to Pastor Joseph Karanja (Grays).

Family and friends are meeting every day from Thursday 11th May 2017 to 13th May 2017 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Sunday the 14th of May 2017 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at 63 Burrow Road Chigwell Essex, IG7 4NL.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Jane Wambui Kamau of Nottingham UK, which occurred on 1st May 2017 at City Hospital in Nottingham, UK. Beloved wife of Charles Mbui Kamau of Mathare-ini, Kigumo, Muranga and beloved mother to Lily Mwihaki of Nottingham.

She was a beloved daughter of Francis Mburu Gachau and Mrs Felista Wairimu Mburu of Muruka Village, Muruka Sub Location Kandara. Muranga, Kenya. Sister to Leah Wanjiru, Simon Ndungu Emmah Njeri, John Guchu, Mercy Wangoru and Henry Gitau. Sister in law to Bernadette Wangari Kuria of Nottingham. The late Margaret Wanjiru, Andrew Kinanya and Peter Macharia. The Funeral will take place in Matharei-ini, Kigumo, Kenya. Date and arrangements to be announced later.

A loving husband of Feronica Ngira Mbaka. Son of the late Nthiga Katharanjau and Flonica Ciarunji.

Father of Jenes Mwendia, Ishmael Mwaniki, Sam Erick Kinyua, Onesmus Mutembei, Caroline Ndugu and Agnes Njoki.

Grandfather of Andrea Wawira, Blessing Kawira, Shantel Nyakio and Shanley Karani.
