APPRECIATION

The Kinyenje Family would like to thank the Almighty God for the gift of a mother, sister, aunty and friend and the memories of which we shall forever cherish in our hearts.

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to our relatives, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who stood with us during the period of Anne’s illness and passing away. In our time of deep pain we felt the overflowing love. We were deeply touched by the numerous calls, texts, condolence cards, visits, prayers, words of comfort and encouragement as well as your moral and tremendous financial support.

Special thanks to the funeral orgariizing committees both in Nairobi and Kereita, Rev. Fr. Dr. Vincent Kamiri and the co-celebrants who officiated the Requiem Mass for Anne. Our heartfelt thanks to the Holy Trinity (Kileleshwa) choir, the Kereita Choir and the St Joseph the Worker, Our Lady of Assumption and Philip Rinaldi Small Christian Communities. We also appreciate the. “Graemes” for conducting the evening prayer sessions and the Kaplan & Stratton colleagues for their support.

We also wish to thank Anne’s caregivers and the medical staff for the tireless and loving care they afforded to Anne in the later years of her life. The Kinyenje family also appreciates the immense support of all those who travelled from far and wide to be with us as we laid Anne to rest. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to celebrate Anne’s beautiful life with us.

James Kiruma Maina

It is our profound sorrow to announce the death of James Kiruma Maina. Son to Julius Maina and Julia Muthoni (Wakiruma of Gikomba Market). Brother of Catherine Wanjiru Maina. Uncle of Diana, Pamela and cousin of many.

Grandson of the late James Kiruma Gathingi and Gladys Muthoni Kiruma, from Waigiri Farm Nyeri County and Christopher Ngigi and Esther Nyathira Ngigi from Gathera Sub-loation, Murang’a County.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his parent’s home Komarock Sector 3B Hse. No 219 and at the “Other Place” along Kangundo Road, Outering junction from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 16th May 2017 at 7.00am for burial and prayers to be held at Waigiri Farm Kangaita Village, Nyeri County.

Kagoi, Stanely Gathira Kagoi, Wangari Kagoi, Timothy Gathere Kagoi, Lilian Wanjiru Wangechi and Esther Wanjiru Kagoi. The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Farewell Home on Friday 12th May 2017 at 6.00 am thereafter funeral service shall be held at ACK Emanuel Gataragwa church at 10.00 am, then burial at her husband home Gataragwa village, Gitugi location Mathioya Sub-county.

Maseno University regrets to announce the untimely death of John Paul Okoth Ojuondo (Pope) of Kisumu Hotel which occurred on 29th April 2017.

Son of Zedekiah Ojuondo Manyala and Agnetta Nyangiri Ojuondo of Pap-Onditi Location, Lowe Nyakach.

Beloved husband of Sheffield Akinyo of Homa Bay County Hospital. Father of Easter Mabel, Grace Julian and Sue. Brother of the late Rosemary Millicent Obat, George Ojuondo (Maseno University), Patrick, Peter, Philip Obare (DC Meru), Emmanuel Odawo, Philemon, Christabel, Judith, Gilbert, Erick, Tobias, Lawi, Collins (Migori Prison) and Wycliffe. Son in law of Mama Sarah Achieng’ Onyango of Central Karachuonyo. Uncle of Yvonne, Eddy Obat, Kevin, Hazel, Brian, Viola, Georginah and Chelsea of USA, Andy, Brian, Bella, Ian, Dylan, Manuela and Ivy. He was a cousin of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at Kisumu Hotel.

Burial will take place in his father’s home in Kogola Village, Kabodho East Sub location, Pap Onditi Location, Lower Nyakach Division, Kisumu County.

Today marks the 6th month since we laid Bishop to rest. As a family we wish to express our sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for his continued provision of peace and comfort as we continue to celebrate the life and legacy of our general and hero.

We extend our humble appreciation to our entire family, relatives, friends, neighbours and professional colleagues for your overwhelming presence and continued support.

We recognize and thank the leadership and congregation of CHRISCO Church in Kenya led by Mama Cora Das, The International Christian Centre and CITAM Woodley.

We thank Pastor Angie Murenga, Rev. Anduvate, Rev. Wainaina, Presbyter Ng’eno, Pastor Kato, Pastor Fred and Lydia Kilonzo and other clergy for their spiritual support.

Special appreciation to the family of Mr. Peter and Agnes Muthoka, Dr. Nyaga and our Karimba friends and team.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on 18th May 2017 at 12.00 noon for burial at his Nyansiongo settlement home (Kijaur) on Friday 19th May 2017.

Family and friends are meeting at Garden Square daily from 5.00 pm and his rural home. There wit be a main fundraising to offset funeral expenses at 680 Hotel on 16th May starting from 5.00p.m.

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Eliud Macharia Wamae.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Eastliegh and at St Andrews PCEA Nairobi on Friday 12th May 2017 from 5.30 pm 8.00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Eastliegh PCEA Church on 14th May 2017 at 2.00 pm. The funeral will take place at Nyahururu Riachiri Leshau Pondo-Nyandarua County on 16th May 2017.
