Daughter of the late Hezekiah Ndirangu and late Elishiba Waithera of Marumi Village, Kirere sub-location, Kigumo Division, Murang’a County.

Mother of Brigitte Wanjiru and Patrick Njung’e. Sister of Jonah and Ejidiah, Zipporah and late Meshack, Mary and John, Cecilia and Ndung’u, Dr Thuo and Njeri, Nduta and Njoroge, Wairimu and Njaramba. Aunt of Annie, Cecilia, Bernadette, Agatha, Wesley, Patricia and Wambui.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Sagas Hotel (Thika Road) next to Blue Springs Hotel from 6.30pm, and at her rural home in Marumi Village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University (KU) mortuary on Tuesday 27th June 2017 at 8am for burial at her home in Marumi Village.

So loved, so missed…. and so very dear No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it. Only God knows why. Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow, what it means to lose you. No one will ever know. Your departure was an overwhelming loss and adapting to life without you has been a great struggle. Deep down our hearts we know life will never be the same again. It is with humble acceptance of God’s will to announce the promotion to glory of Captain Jane Ndinda Kimeu – Extension Training Officer Kenya East Territory which occurred on 21st June 2017 at Mother and Child Hospital Nairobi after a short battle with cancer.

Beloved wife of Captain Martin Kimeu Ngumbi – Public Relations Secretary, Kenya East Territory. Mother of Monicah Katuku Kimeu and Theopilus Ngumbi Kimeu. Daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Mumo Kaseki. Sister of Musau, Kilonzo, Mutio and Berita among others.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at The Salvation Army, Nairobi, Central Temple opposite OTC at 5pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Embu Funeral Home Gakwegori on Friday June 30th 2017 for funeral service at ACK St Paul’s Cathedral Embu starting from 10am and thereafter burial at her Kivunguru home the same day.

Son of the late Paul Gathiru alias Njuguna and late TabithaWambui. Husband of Philomena Mugure of Garden Estate Academy and Loise Waiyego of SimbaNet.

Father of Caroline Wambui, Chrispin Njuguna, Daniel Macharia & Joyce Waithera, Gabriel Kihungi & Rose Wanjiku, McCrae Njuguna and Jeremy Mbugua. Grandfather of Alexia, Charlotte, Shirley and Nathan. Brother of Njeri, Wanja, Mbothu, Charagu, Mwangi, the late Ndundu, the late Wangonyo, late Kihungi. Brother in law of Ester, Nyambura, Warui, Cecilia, James, Paul and the late Wangeshi.
