We humbly announce the death of Stephen M’mrere Matasi which occurred through a fatal road accident along Eastern bypass near GSU Training School, Nairobi on the early morning of 28th May 2017. Loving husband of Rose Mukina and Catherine Okoli. Loving father of Lilian Namweya, Binnah Mutiembu, Felix Wamamili, Adv. Silvia Nambuye, Zak Matasi, Albert Zack, Moses Malungu, Collins Simiyu and Eunice Tendwa (Dubai). Son of the late Zakayo Matasi and the late Jeridah Matasi. Brother of Wellington, the late Kisaka, late Evans, Dr. N. Matasi, Daniel, Samuel, Neddy, Rhodah, Rebha, Gladys, Mellap, Dinnah, Ruth, Beatrice and Violet. Son-in-law of Munuve Muia and Joseph Mulanda. Father-in-law of Amos Kituyi. Grandfather of Bram, Paula, Giselle, Audrey and Bravin. Basakwa of Beatrice Kituyi. Nephew of Masayis, Kisakas, Murumbas, Kituyis, Kalawangas, Opichos,Wamamilis, Jumbes, Lufwalulas among others. Brother-in-law of the late Wasike, the late Lusaka,Anindo,Wekesa, the late Odhiambo, the late Mufutu, Fred, Ezekiel, Mumasi, Fanice, Oscar, Flora, Josephat, Mutua, Mutuku, Muteti, Kennedy and Josephine. Uncle of George, Gvn. Lusaka, OCPD Nickson, Opiyo,Aggrey, Mwangale, Kitui, ‘Juma, Janet, Adv. Martin, Joan, Laura, Gyle, Erick, Sharon among others. Friends and relatives are meeting today 6/6/2017 for a fundraising towards funeral expenses at Railways Club-Nairobi and Members Club-Bungoma from 5pm. There will be a funeral service at Friends Church International 2pm. The cortege departs Nairobi on Thursday 8th June at 6.00 am. Mihuu Sub-location, Bungoma East Sub County.
