It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Maiti M’Arimi which occurred on Monday 19th June 2017 in a tragic road accident at Athi River, Mombasa Road at 11.30am.

At the time of her death Ruth worked at MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi and was a student at Baraton University. She previously worked at Mater Hospital.

Ruth was the daughter of Gladys Nkuene M’Arimi of Ministry of Education in Meru. She was sister of Solomon Kahoro Mutembei, Joseph Murangiri, Brian Kimathi, Faith Kanana, Carol Muthoni, Rose Wanja and Richard Riungu.

She was sister in law to Sally Kimathi and Eunice Wambua and cousin to Michael Mutuma and Franklin Mureithi among others. Ruth was fiancee to Reuben Mwiti Mwithia of Kenyatta National Hospital and mother to Travis Mwenda Mwiti.

Family, colleagues and friends are meeting daily at 5.30pm at Tumaini House (next to KENCOM) in Nairobi, while those in Meru are meeting at Meru Prison Catholic Chapel Hall at 5.3Opm daily for burial preparation.

Dad, it’s been a year since you left us, for His Glory. We still feel profound pain in our sorrowful hearts and we miss you dearly.
