We the family of the late Esther Njeri Njenga and the larger Mundia family, would like to thank the Almighty God for giving us our family Matriarch for the last 97 years, indeed she was blessed with a fruitful life, spanning close to a century for which we are truly grateful.
We wish to take this opportunity to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our relatives, in-laws, friends and neighbours, for surrounding us with your love and care during our time of bereavement. We were touched by your calls, personal visits, financial, spiritual and moral support.
We would like to thank the PCEA Bahati Martyrs Parish for the communion and prayers, with her during her lifetime. We would like to thank Rev Albert Karanja and together with PCEA Church Elders for leading the funeral and memorial services at home.
We would also like to thank the ACK Church leadership for the use of the facilities at All Saint’s Cathedral for the funeral committee meetings and Rev Joseph Kamau for leading the prayer sessions.
We would like to thank all the individual members of the funeral organizing committee and Canon John Wairumbi and Patrick Marekia for chairing the meetings that culminated in the successful arrangements for the funeral.

Senator David Musila and the entire family of the late Alice Kivwea Musila thank the Almighty God for the blessing of our Mum’s life. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to those who stood with us during the illness and demise of our dear mother. We were deeply touched by messages of condolence via SMS, telephone calls and in person.We especially convey our gratitude to the President, H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, H.E Kalonzo Musyoka, Mr. Peter Muthoka and many other friends, too many to mention, for their messages of support during that difficult time.
We would like to thank the funeral-organizing committees in Nairobi, Kitui and Mwingi, Senator Musila’s colleagues in the Senate and the National Assembly and our many friends and relatives who prayerfully supported us during Mum’s illness.

We thank Dr. Earnest Kioko, of the Nairobi Hospital, Prof. Stanley Khainga, of the Aga Khan hospital and all nurses of Nairobi Hospital, for the care they gave to our mother during the period of her illness.

Burial arrangement are taking place at Garden Square Nairobi as from 5.30pm and marima at his home Kithitu. The cortege leaves Gakwegori funeral home Embu on 2/6/2017 for the burial at Maara Sub-county, Muthambi Ward on the same day.

Faith Wanjiku Mbuthia

Family and friends are meeting at Magoiri road, Kileleshwa, Nairobi and at her home in Gikororo village Nyeri. The funeral shall be held on Friday 2 June in Gikororo village, Iria-ini Location, Mathira East Sub-County, Nyeri.

Jeremiah Charles Ogolla

It is in acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr, Jeremiah Charles Ogolla. Son of Charles Were Rangara and Saulina Audo, both deceased. Brother of Joshua Achola, Hellen Were, Margaret Adhiambo, the late Alfred Otieno, and the late John Juma Mitere. He is survived by beloved wife, Margaret Atieno Ouma Ogolla of University of Nairobi, Department of Architecture and Building Science, and beloved children, Getway, Laura Norma, and Mitchclay Maguti Ogolla of Nairobi Primary School.
Until his death, Mr. Ogola served as a Member of the Council of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM), where he also chaired the Standards Sub-Committee of Council. He will be missed by family, friends and colleagues.

Albert George Shihemi Khaminwa

Khaminwa regret to announce the passing of their son Albert George Shihemi Khaminwa who was called suddenly to be with our creator on the 25th May 2017. He was a Senior Partner in the law firm of Khaminwa & Khaminwa Advocates. He was the holder of a LL.B (Hops) and a LL.M (International Law) from the University of Warwick.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home Kiganjo from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.The cortege leaves Kenyatta University mortuary on Friday 2nd June 2017 at 8.30 am, prayers service will be held at St. Joseph the worker Catholic Church Parish, Kiganjo from I 1.00am, there after burial at his home in Kiganjo Gatundu South at 2.00pm.
