Mama, anguished hours, days and, weeks have become one year. Though we miss you terribly, our joy is that we know you are with the Lord.

3/2/1999 – 10/6/2017      It’s with sadness that we announce the passing of Elikana Mogaka Kebati (Elly) who was shot dead on 10th June 2017. He was a form 4 candidate at Bruce wood High School. Son of Hezron Kebati Okeiga, Gladys Bosibori Kebati and Pacificah Moraa. Brother of Rose Gesare, Caroline Nyagekuru (Prison Ha), Emily Magoma, Lameck Mongare (Shimo la Tewa Prison), Dinah Nyangara, Lilian Nyamusi, Erick Okeiga, Edward Okeiga, Douglas Omuya and Priscilla Kemunto. Nephew of Peter Okeiga, Hezron Kebaso, Nelson Omae (Retired Chief), the late Reuben Okemwa, Bishop Onsongo, Hon Steve Mogaka (West Mugirango), Danstan Omani (Advocate), Kennedy Mongare (KCB) Francis Nyaboga (Currently in the US), Stephen Kerina, Agnes Kwamboka, Jemima Monto, Josephine, Hellen, Prisca Makori, Fridah Nyaboga (Nyamira County), Joyce Mongare, Pamella Gesare. Father to, Lennah Kemuma Ombui (Muthale Girls) and Britney Mokeira Ombui (Linet Academy). Brother of the late Pamella, Mogambi, Ruth, Sani, Judy and Nyangau. Brother-in-law of late Vincent, Pauline (USA) Wycliffe, Geofrey and Tabitha. Son in-law of Thomas Ogembo, Eliseba, Stanley Michira and others. Cousin of Dr. Ogwagwa (K.U), Orogos’, Julius Omosa, Everline, Enock Abeba, Shem Obaigwa, Nyakundi Nyamongo, Kennedy Anyona Sure, Ruth Bosire, Nyambeki, Charles, Godfrey Akuma (MoA), John Paul and Moffat Nyarangi. 1928 15.6.2017      It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of my beloved husband, our dad and brother, Evans Mwaura Githuka, of Captain, 0I Kalou, Nyandarua County, that occurred on 15th June 2017.
Son of the late Wilson Githuka and the late Peris Wanja Githuka. Husband of Margaret Wangui Mwaura. Father of George Githuka, Wanja Mwaura-Tenambergen and the late Lucy Nduta. Brother of Eunice Wangare, the late Samuel Mutari, Albert Ngotho, the late Daniel Mbugua, Lillian Wairimu, the late Danson Kariuki, James Ng’ang’a, and Lawrence Kamau. Step-brother of Tabitha Wambui and David Mwaura, and grandfather of many.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru on Wednesday, 21 st June 2017 at 8.30am and the burial will be on the same day at 11 am in Captain, 0I Kalou.

Husband of Akaco Ekirapa and Father of Tesla Njamwea. Son of Joseph (deceased) and Alice Njamwea. Brother of Anne and Thelma Njamwea and the late Edward Kaniaru and the late Paul K Njamwea. Cousin, uncle and friend of many. Friends and family are meeting at Shalom Guest House on Ngong Road at 6pm on Tuesday 20th and Thursday 22nd. There will be a Tribute Ceremony at African Population and Health Research Centre auditorium at 2.30PM on Wednesday 21st June 2017.
The viewing of the body will be on Fiday, 23rd June 2017 at 8 am at Lee. Funeral Home and thereafter a funeral service will be held at Langata Cemetery along Ngong Road at 11.00 am
