It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Salome Mugure Mwangi of Mathaithi Village, Karatina, Nyeri County. Daughter of the late Emmanuel Mwaniki and late Adelaide Wariara. Sister of Muriu, Wamoko, Warui, Wahome and Wachira. Beloved wife of the late Duncan Mwangi Allan. Mother of Mary Wambugu, formerly of Treasury, the late -Edah Wambui, Allan Weru businessman, Gatitu, Elizabeth Nduta Nakuru, Emmanuel Mwaniki Karatina, Charles Mutero Karatina, the late Pauline Wairimu, Julia Wangari, Mweiga and Lieutenant George Muriu of KDF. Sister-in-law of Betha Njuki, Julia Kinaro, the late Evelyne Mumbi, Lydiah Githinji and Mary Nancy Wambui. Mother-in-law of Col (Rtd) Kamere and Charles Kinyua. Loving aunt of Kihori,Wanja, James Weru,Wangari Githinji and Snr. Chief Patrick Weru among others. Grandmother and great grandmother of many. Relatives and friends are meeting at her home Mathaithi, her daughter’s home Kasarani and Abbey Hotel, Nairobi from 5.00pm. The cortege leaves Jamii hospital, Karatina on Friday 23rd June 2017 at 9.00am for mass at Mathaithi Catholic church from 10.00am. She will be buried at her Rau farm, Mathaithi.
