Also step-mother of Hon. James Nyoro, Jubilee Deputy Governor Nominee, Kiambu County, Ngugi (Wa Njomo) among many. Mother-in-law of Hon. Kanja Muchina, Governor aspirant, Nyandarua County among others.

He was the son of the late Namulanda Wa Nakhumwa and the late Nasenya Ilwaka; husband to Oda Namalero Namulanda; father to Kizito, Lwanga, Gonza, Mukasa, Gyavira and Lawrencia; grandfather to Inaki, Lukka, Idoia and Joseba; father-in-law to Christine and Josephine; brother to Jonathan Mubweka, the late Daniel Otipi and the late Juma Namulanda.
