Elder, Mrs. Purity Wangui Gikuhi

1/01/1954 – 17/06/2017       It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Purity Wangui Gikuhi, which occurred on 17/06/2017. Loving wife of Richard K. Gikuhi, dotting mother of Kiana and Leah,Waititu, Murimi and Maureen & grandmother of Gikuhi Kiana Jnr. Daughter of the late Duncan Mukaburu and the late Grace Wambura and daughter-in-law of Perminus Kiana Gikuhi and _Isabella Wangeci. Sister of Charity & the late Mwangi, Maina & Wanja, Wachira & Gathoni, the late Anne Mumbi, Ndegwa & Damaris, Ngunjiri & Faith, Muriuki & Wairimu,Waruguru & Wa.njohi and Wandia & Mutura. Loving-in-law of Njeri & the late Gikiri, ,Gathoni & Githaiga, Gakenia & the late Muriuki,Wambui & Eng. Kahoro, Dr. Murimi & Mary,Wairimu Kiana,Wandia & lan Mbugua. Purity was full of love and joy, selflessly dedicating herself to those around her.
She will be laid to rest on Tuesday 27th June 2017.The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home next to Outspan Hospital at 9am for a funeral service at PCEA Nyamachaki Church, Nyeri from I Oam.Thereafter she will be laid to rest at Mathaithi (Kiawanduha), near Karatina town. Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Nyeri Town from 5.00 pm, Nairobi at St. Andrews Church from Wednesday to Friday from 5.30pm and in Karatina at Kiawanduhafrom Tuesday 20th at 4.00pm.
