One Year On

1/2/1923 – 1/7/2016

One Year ago, at exactly 12.30 p.m, the Almighty called you to His Heavenly Abode, after completing your tour of duty on earth.

Your Death left a Heartache in Our Hearts that no One can Heal

But Your Love for Us has left us with Memories no one can steal.

Almighty God,

If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for US,

Place them in our Mother’s arms

and tell her they’re from US,

Tell her that we Love her and miss her,

And while she turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon her cheek, and hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy, We do it every day,

But there’s a heartache in our hearts that will never go away.

Mum, our grieving for you will never end.

But we know it will change,

Because this was a passage and not a place to stay.

Our grieving for you is not a sign of weakness…

But it is the Price of our Love for You….

Fondly remembered by your Co-wife, Maayi Loice, your brothers and sisters, Children and their spouses, your grandchildren and their spouses, Great Grandchildren and their spouses, your great-great grandchildren, friends and church members and the many people whose hearts you touched positively while you lived.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” Joshua 1:9
