passing of Millicent Njeri Thuita, who was called to rest on 11th May 2025 in Nyahururu,

Millicent was born on 12th July 1964 in Murang’a, and throughout her life, she embodied joy, generosity, and hard work.

She was the beloved wife of David Thuita Muruthi, and a devoted mother of Fernandes and Sally Muruthi, Eric and Ruth Mwangi. She was a cherished grandmother of Kiyo Njeri, Thayu Thuita, Nuru Njeri and Tata and Cucu of
many more.

Millicent was a treasured sister of Peter and Wambui Mbue, Alex and Agnes Macharia, Evan and Patricia Kanja, Eunice Mwangi, Antony and Marion Kabiru, Joan Maina, and Anne Kiarie.

She was also a sister in-love of Robert and Eunice Ndegwa, Nancy Kagure, David and Beatrice Njoroge, the late Christopher and Margret Munene, Leah Wamahiga and Monica Wangari.

Millicent will be fondly remembered for her unwavering faith and community spirit. She was a dedicated member of the PCEA Nyahururu Women’s Guild, and the proud founder and operator of the well-loved Emms Café in Nyahururu, where she warmly served many with her hospitality and kindness.
