Julius began his career at Stainless Steel Ltd and later served in humanitarian work across Uganda, Tanzania, and South Sudan with Samaritan Purse, before returning to Kenya and working with Uber.

David was the cherished son of the late Patrick Muhindi Kiguru and the late Ruth Wambui Muhindi of Kaha-ini, Kandara.

He was a devoted husband of Caroline Wanjiru Kinyanjui and a loving father of Ruth Wambui, Victor and Wambui Muhindi, Mary Joan Wangui and Catherine Wanjiku.

He was a doting grandfather of Kamau, Shish, Sheena, joy, Njeri, Martha and Nimu.

He was a brother, uncle, and grandfather of many within the wider Muhindi family of Kahai-ini and an in-law of the Gundi family of Ngorano, Mathira.

The cortege will depart from Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Friday, 27th June 2025, at 8.30 a.m. and proceed to St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Umoja-Lanet, where the funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thereafter, the burial will take place at his home in Murunyu—Lanet, Nakuru.

Father in-law of Gladys Kemunto, Elvine Moraa Perina Ahoya, Eunia Kerubo, Risper Kwamboka, Faith Kibet, Alloys Matoke, Stanley Mokoro, Hudson Saina and John Chem or. Mzee had thirty three (33) grandchildren and (6) great grandchildren.

The cortege will depart from Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary – Private Wing on Thur slay 26th June 2025 for Nyamira County and thereafter Kiluka farm in Eldoret for interment. Mzee be laid to rest on Friday 27th June 2025 at his home in Kiluka farm, Uasin Gishu County.
