It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Patrick Kanyingi Wachira o Marmanet, Nyahururu on 23rd May 2025 after a long illness bravely borne.

He was the husband of the late Felista Wahito Kanyingi.

He was the first born son of the late Wachira Kanyingi and the late Loise Mumbi Wachira. Son-in-law of KarimeWaithak.a and Wanjiku Karirne of Nyeri County.

Patrick was father of the late Hellen Mumbi, Michael Wachira (USA), Anne Wanjiku (Nairobi), James Karime (USA) and Anthony Mwangi(USA). He was father-in-law of Irene Muthoni Karmic (USA). Grandfather of MacKenzie Wahito Karirne, Francis Gitahi Kanyingi Karime and Madison Wangui Karime all of USA.

Patrick was the brother of the late Zipporah Wanjiru Kamau and Jane Wangari Wachira. He was uncle and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family residence, Marmanet, off Nyahururu Rumuruti Road for prayers and burial arrangments.

The cortege will depart from St. Benedict’s Hospital Mortuary, Nyahururu at 8.00 a.m. on Friday 6th June 2025. The burial will take place on the same day at his Marmanet home, Nyahururu. Laikipia County.

She was wife of the late Humphrey Mwaura Ruhang’a and mother of Anne Wambui (Mwaura) Kariuki, Kimani Ruhanga, Wilfred Githua Ruhanga, the late Samuel Miingi Mwaura and Danvid Njuguna Mwaura. She was mother-in-law of the late James Kariuki Gitau, Serah Wanjiru Mwangi, Susie Githua, Jane Nyambura and Veronica Mukora.

Jane was a sister of Esther Nyaruiru Kuria (Kerarapon), Florence Wanjiru Kinyanjui (Kerarapon), Elizabeth Wambui Chege (Kairi), Rose Wangui Munyua (Kinangop), Grace Wangari Mbugua, Catherine Ngoiri Mbugua, Rosalid Nduta Mbugua, Julius Gikonyo Githua, Agnes Wanjiru Githua (all of Uthiru), Pauline Wanjiku Githua (UK) and the late Njuguna.

Sister-in-law of Gideon Kuria, Peter Kinyanjui, the late Joseph Chege, Peter Munyua and the late Lucy Gikonyo. She was a grandmother, auntie, cousin, friend, neighbour and mentor to many.

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of CPA. Erick Chepwkony of Bomet County Government. He was a strong pillar in the Administration of Bomet County Government, a trusted confidant of the Governor and a committed Public Servant.

CPA Chepkwony started as a Ward Administrator rising through the ranks in the Department of Finance and Accounts to the Chief Finance Officer for Finance of Bomet County Government. He was a dependable problem solver and a unifying forte in the County Executive and County Assembly_ Until his demise he also served as the National Vice Chair of KTDA Holdings Ltd. Board member and a director of Zone 9-Kapsinendet Lone, Kapset Factory. He helped drive meaningful reforms and growth in the tea Industry.

CPA Chepkwony was the son of Esther Rona Loving husband of Winny Chepkwony of MTRH and a father of Olivia Chebet, Ryan Kipchurnba Yegon and Ethan Kimutai Yegon. Grandfather of Terryanne Chepkirui, Shalline, Chemutai, Kiplangat and Kiptoo. A relative and a great friend of many.

Family and relatives are meeting daily at his residential home in (Chepchabas) in Bomet County for funeral arrangements.

Beloved wife of Eng Richard Kanul Munyao and co-bride of Cecilia. Ruth was the devoted daughter of the late Dickson Ndolo Kitonyi and the late Loisa Mutave Kitonyi. She was a loving mother of Ted (Riru Services), Jeff (CBK), and Michelle 7 (Kari Mwailu).

She was a cherished sister in law of Benson Syuma, Titus, Kyale,\Nambuo, Nduume, Mueni, Kalondu, Mwikali and the late Martha Muthoni among others. She was sister of David Musau among others and aunt of many including Dr Mwikali, Kevin, Erick, David, Jackline, Larry, Erick, Dan, Brian. Loise and Chelsea.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at the family residences in Ruai, Nairobi and Kangundo.

Her body is resting at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home and her final send off has been scheduled for Friday 6th June 2025 at her rural home in Kakutha Village, Kangundo Sub- County, Machakos County.

Family and friends are meeting at their home in Thika – Landless and Gati-iguru Gatanga in Muranga County.

Ruby was the beloved daughter of Mr. Dancun Ndavi and the late Mrs. Doris Dancun, and a cherished sister of Angel Neema and Philip Nzyoka (junior). The Archdiocese of Nairobi announces the death of Rev. Fr. Dr:Vincent Kamiri.

He is son of the late Mathew John Kamiri Karanja and the late Mary Wanjiku Kamiri of Lioki. Brother of the late Felix Karanja, Joseph Ngugi,Willibald Mbugua, the late Peter Ngugi, the late Rose Wangari, the late Francis Njumbi and the late Samuel Mugwanja. Uncle of Samuel Muinika, Edwin Kamiri and Mary Wanjiku Mugwanja. He was grandfather to many.

Requiem Mass shall be celebrated at their family home in Lioki, Kigami from Monday (26/05/2025) to Monday (2/06/2025) daily at 3.00 pm. (excluding Sunday 1/06/2025), NB: Friday Mass will be at Our Lady of Victory Parish, Lioki.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday 3/06/2025. The cortege leaves the Mater Misericordiae Hospital Mortuary at 8:00 am. Funeral Mass will start at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Msongari grounds, thereafter interment at Msongari Clergy Cemetery.
