Husband of Loise Oponyo. Father of Ann Oponyo, the late Patrick Oponyo, Pauline Oponyo and the late Beatrice Oponyo.

Brother of the late Winston Owaka, the late Dinah Musisi, the late Hudson Malenya, the late Zephania Opati Chibole, the late Salome Wanakacha, Mary Mutsoli, Pritt Chibole and Rumanus Ombona. Uncle and grandfather to many.

The burial will be held on Saturday 30th August 2025 at Ingotse Market, Navakholo Constituency, Kakamega County.

We regret to announce the passing of Alice Kerubo Onyancha, who rested on 1st August 2025 after a long battle with illness. She passed on while undergoing treatment at the age of 58.

Alice was born on 31st December 1966 to the late Mwalimu Shem Onyancha and the late Wilkister Moraa Onyancha at Nyakoiba, Sub-Location, Sengera Location, Gucha Division, Kenyenya Sub-County, Kisii County.

She was a beloved sister of Florence, the late Sarah, Joash, Margaret, Robert, Fred, Lilian, Wycliff, and Dorothy.

Alice was a devoted wife of Dr. Edward Mogusu, they were blessed with three children: Gesare Mogusu (USA), Dr. Stephene T.M. Miroro (Nairobi), and Dr. Davis 0. Mogusu (JKUAT).

She was a doting grandmother of Shirley Maya Nyaboke Makori and Tarriq Darren, a cherished mother-in-law of Geofferey Kenga Makori (Paramount Bank Nairobi), Rachel Mutheu and Carolyne Barake.

She was also a loving aunt of Aron, Ruth Okindo (Mangu Boys), Ruth Omanga (Nairobi), Debra, Kioga, Ogugu, Joy, Allan, Tabitha, Shem, Rachel, Elijah, Hon. Nyang’ena Bwo’Omanga, and many others, and a cousin of Eunice Omanga, Hon. Gideon Moreka, Cecilia, Migiro, the late David, Benard, Nyakwara, Nyatichi, Peninnah, Onkomba, Samuel, Jeremiah among others.

Until her demise,Alice worked as a teacher at Njathaine School, Nairobi, Kenya where she headed the Special Education Department. She will be remembered for her passion for education, her deep commitment to special needs education, and her devotion to nurturing others. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love, faith, service, and education.

Funeral arrangements are underway, with daily meetings being held at her Kamakis home, Bypass, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Nairobi for Kisii via Kisumu Airport on 28th August 2025, followed by burial on 29th August 2025 at Mwembe, Nyaribari Masaba, Nyakumbati sublocation, Nyakumbati Location, Masaba South, Kisii County.

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mary Koki Musau, who peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday 24th August, 2025.

Mary Musau was the cherished daughter of the late Cosmas Musau and the late Elena Loko Musau from Kikoko, Makueni.

She was a retired teacher, a farmer, and an animal lover.

She was a devoted sister of Ezekiel Mwaka, the late Teckla Syokwaa, Susan Nzuve, Agnes Muambi, the late Raymond Musau, the late Peter Musau, Dr. Christopher Musau, Ndinda Nguli, John Musau, Mumo Mutune, and Nduku Musau.

As a loving aunt, Mary touched the lives of many including the late Cosmas Mutinda, Peter Mulobi, James Muthama, Elena Loko, Thomas Musau, Charles Musau, Kiilu Mulumba, Kyalo Mulumba, Ngela Nzuve, Michael Nzuve, James Muambi, Ndolo Muambi, Makau Muambi, Kyalo Muambi, Maria Mbova, Mbula Mutua, Colleta Mutua, Mueni Mutua, Victor Mutua, Vicky Loko, Robert Ndolo, the late Patrick Kell, Elena Mwende, Maureen Mbeke, Trevor Musyoki, Cole Mutisya, Joachim Mumbanu, Juriel Lelo,Anthony Mutwiwa, Rosa Maria, Mutheu Mutune and John Mutune.

She was the cousin of Fr. Muthoka and many others who will forever cherish her memory.

Family members and friends are meeting in Runda at the home of Dr. Musau for funeral planning and arrangements.The burial will be in Kikoko Village, Makueni County.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 2nd September, 2025.

Mary Musau will be remembered for her loving spirit and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, ever a devout Christian and orderly disciplinarian, her legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

There will be a fundraiser at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday of 2nd September 2025 as from 5.00pm.

The burial will be on Saturday of 6th September 2025 at his home in Seme-Sub-County.

He was blessed with 4 grandchildren: Hakim Moustapha Njuguna Batambula, Maya Grace Wangari Njuguna, Levi David Maina Wambugu and Gilan Leo Wambugu.

He was brother of Col. Rtd. Ernest Mwangi, Alexandre Githinji, the late John Maina VVakianda, Mary Murega, Dr. James VVanyoike, Robert Mucunu, the late Pharis Muhika, Peter Mburu, Henry Ngugi and Kenneth Kimani.

Born on 20th March 1984, Beth was the cherished and beloved last-born daughter of Mr. James Kathuku and Mrs. Winne Wangui Kathuku. She was a loving sister of Major Michael Kariuki, Esther Njahira, and the late Peter Junior. She was a dear sister-in-law of Mrs. Catherine Njeri Kariuki and a devoted aunt of Tito Yak, Michelle Kariuki, the late Josiah Kariuki, Joshua Kariuki, Katricia Kariuki, Nyanut Malual, Shawn Kariuki, Bryson Kathuku, and many other nieces-and nephews. Beth was also a cousin, a friend, and an aunty to many—including the Kagwanjas—all of whom cherished her deeply.

Fondly known as “Liz”, she was full of life—loving deeply, laughing easily, and touching countless lives with her kindness and cheer.

Prayer & Fellowship Meetings will be held at the All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi on Friday, 29th August 2025 – 5:00 p.m, Monday, 1st September 2025 – 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 2nd September 2025 – 5:00 p.m.

The cortege leaves The Eldoret Hospital on 28th August 2025 at 10.00 hours for a requiem mass at ACK Emmanuel Kapngetuny and thereafter for night vigil at her home. Funeral and burial service will be held on Friday, 29th August 2025 from 9.00 hours at her home in Laboret location, Nandi County.
