Anil was a long-standing Advocate of the High Court of Kenya since 1960 and the Resident Representative of the Aga Khan Development Network in Kenya from 1998 to 2007.

The late Fr. Peter Mwangi was promoted to Glory on Sunday 21st September, 2025 while receiving treatment at Our Lady of Mercy Mission Hospital Nakuru.

He was a caring brother of the late Muthoni, the late Wambui, the late Njeri, the late Ngoru, Wanjiku Mugo, and Njogo.

He was a doting grandfather of Roy, Sue, Bethany, Ngugi, Kui, Murimi, Nimmo, Mumbi, and Kiminda, and a pillar of love and support to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Ichaweri, Ithingu Village, for funeral arrangements.

Amos was born on 31st October 1975 and hailed from Umala Village, East Alego, Siaya County.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret Wanjiru Nguhi, devoted father of Liron Constantine Otieno, and cherished son of the late Walter Ahenda Otiato and Prisca Ahenda.

He was also a son-in-law of Mama Peninah Nguhi.

Amos was a brother of Ben Ahenda, Erick Ahenda, Chris Ahenda, Joshua Ahenda, the late Samuel Ahenda, and the late Rose Ahenda.

He was an uncle of Bevies, Jill, Mike, Griffins, the late Achieng’ Onyango, and Eng. Isaiah Ahenda, and a brother-in-law of Stephen Chege, Ann Nduta, Rebecca Njeri, Elizabeth Wairirnu, Milcah Mumbi, Daniel Kamuri, Ruth Onyango and MarystellaAwinja.

He was a nephew of Levis Ahenda.

A requiem service in honor of Amos will be held on Saturday, 27th September 2025, at 11:00 aim at the Montezuma Funeral Home Chapel, Mbagathi Way, Nairobi.
