It is with deep sorrow, yet with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Nehemiah Kiptum Chemelil, formerly of Kenya Airways and Baraka Travels Mombasa, who went to be with the Lord on 23rd September 2025 while undergoing treatment at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret.

The late Nehemiah was the devoted husband of Naomi Nyamusi Chemelil.

He was the beloved son of Mzee Aaron Chesang Chemelil and the late Elima Teriki Chemelil. Step-son of Rose Chemelil. Son-in-law of Mzee Elkanah Momanyi and Milkah Momanyi.

He was a loving father of Brian Kibowen, Anita Jepkoech, Edgar Kipkurui and Kennedy Kibet. A cherished father-in-law of Florence Odhiambo.

He was a treasured brother of Julia, Kiptala, Rose,Tito, Hilda, Milly, Nicholas, Barkenya, Silas, Mercy, Philip, Jonathan and Chematia.

A dear brother-in-law of the late Yabesh, Grace, Edward, the late Gilbert, Susan, Onesrnus, Lydia, Loyce, Shem,Abigael and Eucabeth. An uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Blessed with a gentle spirit and a generous heart, he was a pillar of strength, love, and wisdom to all who knew him.

He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Logan Kiptum, Nathan Kipsang, Nolan Kimtai and T. Kigen who brought him immense joy.

The family warmly invites relatives and friends to join them in honoring his life at a funeral service on Saturday, 4th October 2025. The cortege will leave MTRH Funeral Home at 8:00 AM on the same day. Burial and memorial service will follow at his family home in Ainabkoi, Gishu County.

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of the late John Kebaso Mosomi which occurred on 24th September 2025 after a short illness.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Meshack Mosomi. Brother of the late Elijah Mosomi, the late Joseph Mosomi, Richard Mosomi, Lilian Mosomi & Innocent Mosomi.

John was father of Blessing and Jordan.

He is uncle of Peter Tosh & Brother in-law of Mary Kiarie. Nephew of the late Rioba, the late Ocharo, Omayio, Momanyi, the late Nyamoita, the late Nyakina, Nyaboke, Priscah, Osiris and others.

Cousin of Riobas, Ocharos, Charanah, Obares, Siros, Subanos and Bogonkos among others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma, Monalisa funeral home home on 02nd October 2025 at 6:00 am for burial on 3rd October 2025 at Rirumi village, Kebirigo Nyamira county.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Waiyego Gikonyo Mwangi, who rested in the Lord on 15th September 2025 after a short illness.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Gerald Gikonyo Kanyuira and the late Mary Wangari Gikonyo. Waiyego was the second-born among her siblings: Wachinga, Maina, Kanyuira, Gichimu, and Kamau. She was also lovingly raised alongside her step-siblings, members of the wider Gikonyo family.

She was a devoted wife of Mwangi Kuria and a cherished mother of Kuria Mwangi and Gikonyo Mwangi. She was a resident of Atlanta, Georgia (USA).

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Blue Springs Hotel, Thika Road, from 6:00 p.m.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday, 3rd October 2025 at 7:00 a.m. for a funeral service and burial at her family home in Ihiga-ini Village, Kangema.

Father-in-law of Margret Mumbua, Pauline Kakuvi, Mary Katunge, Mercy Waithira, Bridget Mumbi, Gloria Wanza and John Muthui.

Mother of Dwyane Kinyua.

Devoted mother of Francis Obong’o, Teresa Mboya (Late), Adero (Late), John Oure (Late), Jared Obong’o, Grace Akinyi, Peter (Late), David (Late),Angelina,Agnes (Late),Tobias Obong’o, Salome (Late), Onyango, Everlyn, Eric, Ken and Isaac.

She was in-law of Nyadera Ogindo(Late), Osoti Ogoma (Late), Oruko Genga (Late), Andronico Kasera. (Late), Richard Malit (Late), and Mboya Osoti (Late) among others.

The Catholic Diocese of Nakuru sadly announces the passing on of Fr. Peter Mwangi.

Son of Teresia Wangari. He was a brother of David Kimani, Carolina Wanjiru, David Njogu and Benson Macharia.

Brother-in-law of Ann Wanjiru Kimani and Leah VVangui Njogu.

He was a lovely uncle of Teresia, Kate, Mary, Caroline, Feter Kimani, Peter Njogu amongst others.

Cousin of Rugu, Salome, Peter, Ruth, Reuben, Leah amongst others.

The late Fr. Peter Mwangi was promoted to Glory on Sunday 21st September, 2025 while receiving treatment at Our Lady of Mercy Mission Hospital Nakuru.

The funeral will be on Monday 29th September 2025 from 10.00am at The Cathedral Church of Christ the King Nakuru. Burial rites and interment at St. Augustine Cemetery (Bahati Parish) from 1:30pm.

He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce Nyokabi Kiminda, and son of the late Karingu Ngoru and the late Margaret Wandia.

A loving father of Damaris Wanjiku, Elizabeth Wandia, Ann Muthoni, and Doris Njeri. Cherished father-in-law of Samuel Migwi, Antony Muhungi, and Antony Gitonga.

He was a caring brother of the late Muthoni, the late Wambui, the late Njeri, the late Ngoru, Wanjiku Mugo, and Njogo.

He was a doting grandfather of Roy, Sue, Bethany, Ngugi, Kui, Murimi, Nimmo, Mumbi, and Kiminda, and a pillar of love and support to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Ichaweri, Ithingu Village, for funeral arrangements.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 27th September 2025, at his home starting at 4:00 PM.
