She was sister of Margaret Nduta Ngwiri and was preceded in death by her siblings Nelly Waithera, Obadiah Thiong’o, Milkah Ndeki, Simon Njoroge, Andrew Thande, and Anthony Niihia.

She leaves behind 10 great grandchildren.

She was sister-in-law of Simon Gakuru and Mary Wanjiru, the late: Evanson Karanja, Brown Muturi, and Paul Thiongo.

She will be dearly missed and remembered for her unwavering faith, generosity, and service to the community.

Brother-in-law of the late Captain (Rtd) Erastus Muriuki; Mrs. Susan Montet; the late.col (Rtd) fames Gitahl;Mr.Arthur Osiya (EBS), PAS, Executive Office of the President; and the late Cat (Rtd) Jeremiah Chepkairor Shollei. He was also an uncle of many and nephew to the Montet’s among others.

Elizabeth Njoki was a loving aunt of Murage, the late Macharia, Mwaniki, Muthoni, Nduta, Mwangi, Wangeci, Maina and Machaga. She was a grandmother of 20 grandchildren and was honoured to see 11 of her great grandchildren.

Cherished brother of Wanjiku, Njeri, Mugure, and Wambui (all late); step brother of William Gitogo, Mukami, Jane Wanjiku, Isaac Gitogo, Wangeci, and Waitheru: the late Danson Ndwekia and late Peter Mwangi.

He was the loving father of Tom Mbuthia Gitogo (Britam) and Lydia, Catherine Wanjiru (Nakuru East Secondary) and Watoro, Serah Wangari (Ngukuni Special Unit, Makueni County), David Wainaina (Dagma) and Agnes, and Winrose Wanjiku (Nyandarua National Polytechnic).
