It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Rebecca Kerubo Kebati which occurred on 5th September 2025 at Chiron Hospital, Kisii after a short illness.
Beloved daughter of the late Martha and Mokaya.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Kebati and Co-wife of the late Jeriah Kebati.
She was sister of late Teresia Nyamotai, the late Kebute, the late Nyangoge, the late Stephen Okero and the late Tomisiano Angwenyi.
She was a loving mother of the late Samuel, Esther (Migori), Elizabeth (Canada), the late Samson, the late Rosemary (Obachi), Bosco (Kisii), the late Margaret, the late Agnes, Lucy (Canada), and a loving step mother of Gillian (Nakuru), the late Micah, Janet (Nakuru), Paul (Canada), and the late Everlyn.
She was a loving mother in-law of Mary (Kisii) and the late Jane, Francis (Migori), Chrisantus (Canada), the late Geoffrey, the late Mahinda, Joyce (Kisii), Elijah (Canada), Alice (Nakuru), Tom (Nakuru), the late Grace, and Marlyn (Canada).
Korera of the late Kwamboka/Nyankwoga, the late Mr & Mrs Auma, the late Mr and Mrs Omariba and Kwamboka (Kisii), the late Mr & Mrs Orioki, the late Mr & Mrs Abuga, the late Mr Simba and Mrs Salome (Kisii), the late Caren Kwamboka and Mr Ogato (U.S.A), Mrs Mary and the late Mr Tiema, the late Turufosa and Mr Hezron, the late Ballitoc and Naddulo (Phillipines).
She leaves behind Forty one (41) grandchildren, Fifty eight (58) great grand children and two (2) great-great grand .children.
Funeral and condoling/prayers meetings are being held at her home in Bigogo Village in Nyamira Village.
Burial Ceremony will take place on Friday, 19th September 2025 at the family home in Bigogo Village, Mwabosire Sub Location, Manga Sub County, Nyamira County.
She has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith…
