Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their homes in Kaveta Kitui, Kyondoni Girls’ Sec. Kitui, Kangundo Machakos and at Moonlight Hotel in Kitui Town.

He was a loving husband of Reverend Regina Amugune, a devoted father of Raynold Yalwala, Edison Obindi, and Precious Isigi, and a cherished father-in-law of Noreen Wangoi.

He will be fondly remembered as a brother-of Joram Ambehi, Edith Kagasi, Dan Nyaleso, Kennedy Kibande, Prof. Pamela Ngugi, Douglas Kegonyera, Everett Obindi, Caroline Afanda, and Angela Yalwala.

He was also a beloved brother-in-law of Odilia Ambehi, John Kagasi, Hellen Nyaleso, Emelda Kibande, Paul Ngugi, Josephine Kegonyera, Everline Obindi, Kennedy Afanda, and Allan Kaisha.

He was a son in-law of the Miami family and the Maina family and vasanji of Mr & Mrs. Ben and Angeline Kareithi.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, 26th September 2025, at Kidiwa PAG Church, Eldoret, starting at 9:30 AM.

Born on March 27, 1954, in Kyale Village, Makueni County. Cosmas was the second-born son of the late Mutunga Yatta and Tabitha Mukei Mutunga. He was a loving brother of Francis Mutiso (late), Joseph Muthiani (late), Josphat Kyumwa (late), James Komu (late), John Mutie, and Ellena Mbaki (late).

Cosmas was a loving and committed husband of Beth Mueni, and together they were blessed with four children: Pascalia Mwende, Charles Mutuku, Patrick Kyalo, and Mary Nthenya. Father-in-law of Riungu Muchai, Caroline Mutanu, Cleopatra Akinyi. Grandfather of Nkatha, Mwenda, Ndanu, Milan, Mutheu, Mumbe & Hawi.

He was a devoted husband of Jane Nthemba Nyenge, and a loving father of Robert Mutuku, Francis Muoki, Josephine Mbula, and John Mbuvi. Father-in-law of Anne Mutuku and Sheila Kusero Muoki.

He was brother of the late Paul and Helena Mulvva, Shadrack and Rosina Mulei, Dr. Raphael Nyenge and Jane, Lazarus and Sabina Wambua, Charles and Naomi Muli, Mumbua, Irene, Selina, Mulwa, Catherine, Mumbua, and Muasya.
