It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of baby Khourtney Nyaboke Omariba, which occurred on Thursday 11th September 2025 while undergoing treatment at KUTRRH.

The late Khourtney was the beloved daughter of Colvin Omariba Mokaya and Olivent Anyango Adikah. Sister of Arvyannah Mirabel Omariba.

She was a cherished grandchild of Gideon Mokaya Kibagendi & Mellen Mokaya, and George Onditi & Dorcas Odhiambo, Zytoon, Evans Kibagendi, Dorcas Kibagendi, Dixion Kibagendi, Bwari, Monyangi, Naftal, John, James, Nyakundi, Monica, Lilian and others.

She was a loving daughter of her uncles and aunts: Benard, Rose,Walter, Osoro, Gichana, Jared, Hon. Kibagendi, Caroline, Brian, Eddy, Gladys (USA), George, Orwasa (Qatar), Violet, Rebecca, Emily, Hellen, Moraa, Ednah, Vincent, Brian, Camelous, Nick, Jabez, Nelly and others.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the tragic loss of our colleague and fr lend, Rufus Buku Gikonyo, who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, 14th September, 2025, through a tragic road accident.

Rufus was the beloved son of the late John Gikonyo Buku and Emmah Waigwe.

He was a devoted husband of Beatrice Njeri Irungu and a loving father of Kyron Gikonyo Buku and Nilan lrungu Buku.

He was also a brother of Joyce Nyanibura and Kelly Muthoni Gikonyo.

Rufus was a valued and beloved staff member of the Christian Health Association of Kenya family {CHAK), where he served as a logistics officer.

The cortege will leave Kangema Level 4 Mortuary and proceed for the funeral service at their home in Mathioya Sub-county, Muranga County on Saturday 20th September, 2025.

He was a loving father, brother, uncle, friend, and a man of great wisdom whose kindness and strength touched many lives. His passing on leaves a deep void in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and free from pain.

She was sister of Margaret Nduta Ngwiri and was preceded in death by her siblings Nelly Waithera, Obadiah Thiong’o, Milkah Ndeki, Simon Njoroge, Andrew Thande, and Anthony Niihia.

She leaves behind 10 great grandchildren.

She was sister-in-law of Simon Gakuru and Mary Wanjiru, the late: Evanson Karanja, Brown Muturi, and Paul Thiongo.

She will be dearly missed and remembered for her unwavering faith, generosity, and service to the community.

Born on 2nd April 1970 in Kibiko A, Kajiado West, Kajiado County, Ishmael was the son of the late George Ole Montet and the late Ann Nduku Montet

He was the loving father of Ann Nduku Montet of Newfoundland, Canada.

He was a cherished brother of Linah Muchangi; Legishon Montet Anthony July Montet; Senator Betty Montet; Christabel Nashilu Osiya; and Mama Naserian Montet.

Brother-in-law of the late Captain (Rtd) Erastus Muriuki; Mrs. Susan Montet; the late.col (Rtd) fames Gitahl;Mr.Arthur Osiya (EBS), PAS, Executive Office of the President; and the late Cat (Rtd) Jeremiah Chepkairor Shollei. He was also an uncle of many and nephew to the Montet’s among others.

The cortege will leave Lee-funeral Home on Tuesday, 23rd September 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral service at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Kibiko, Ngong at 11:00 a.m , followed by burial at his family home in Kibiko A, Kajiado County.

Funeral arrangements and Prayers are being held at the family home in Kibiko daily from 4:00 p.m.

He was a devoted husband of the late Veronica Owuor and of Elsa Akoth Owuor, and a cherished father of Dr. Yvonne (USA), Fiona, Imelda, Fidel, Lucy, and Jeff.

Son of the late Ibrahim Orwa and the late Consolata Orwa. Joseph is survived by his siblings Rev. Dalmas, Dick, Khillence, and Miriam. He was predeceased by his siblings Peter, Margaret, Monica, and Dorothy.

His body will leave St. Camillus Mission Hospital Mortuary on 18th September 2025 and he will be id to rest on 19th September 2025 at his home in Aringo Village.
