Husband of Mary Ong’ayo Muluka and son of the late Mzee Samuel Muluka Ogonji and the late Mama Rosa Were Muluka of Emanyulia Ebwakalani.

Brother of the late Aswan! Muluka, the late Mary Anyango Okeno, the late Wellington Ogonji Muluka, Rev. Jairus Maina Muluka, the late Nom Okaro Muluka, the late Lorna Ashioya, Mama Catherine Achando Attika, Dr. Evans Pessa Muluka, the late Arthur Andika Muluka and Walter Waka Muluka.

Loving father of Wellington Ogonji, Rosa-Ruth Were, the late Samuel Muluka, Regina Khalechi Waweru, the late Owen Muchuka Muluka and Morris Omito Muluka. Father-in-law of David Waweru and grandfather of Ivy and Angel.

He was the brother-in-law of the late Mama Susy Wanga, Mama Roselyn Muluka, Mama Bilha Muluka, Mzee Zebedee Attika, the late Mama Nellie Anzazi Muluka, Jane Muluka and the late Grace Muluka.

The cortege leaves Butere Funeral Home today, Friday September 19, 2025 for a memorial service at St. Paul’s ACK, Emanyulia and then proceed to his family home in Emanyulia, Mundeku Sub-location, Kisa Central, Khwisero, Kakamega County. Burial will take place at his home tomorrow, Saturday, September 20, 2025.

It’s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce thepassing on to glory of Bancy Wanja Wachira on 14/09/2025 after a short illness.

Bancy Wanja Wachira was a beloved daughter of Robert Wachira Ndung’u and Naomie Wanjiku Wachira. She was a cherished sister of Maryann Wangui and Liam Ndung’u.

She was a niece of Thomas Kiama, Sarah Wanjiku, the late Benadatte, Niaomie, Alex Ndumia, Joyce Wangari among others. She was a cousin and aunt to many.

She was a granddaughter of the late Charles Ndung’u Kiama and the late Mary Wangui Ndung’u and the late Joseph Ngondi and Tabitha Wanja.

She was a student at Mount Laverna-Kasarani.

The family and friends are meeting daily at Outvest address Lounge at Membley from 6.00pm daily and at their rural home Muirungi village.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Tuesday 23/09/2025 at 8.00am for funeral mass at Muirungi village, Gathera Sub location, Chinga, Othaya Sub-county starting from 11.00am.

She was the daughter of the late Gichure K tbulka and the late Wairire Muriu.

Beloved wife of the late Mwangi Njagi Loving mother of Pauline Wachera,Anne Nyambura, Simon Mama, Jacinta Njen, the late Lucy Wangui, and Stephen Kariuki. Sister of the late Gladys Wangechi, the late Agnes Nyaribura, the late Lucy Wangui, and the late Elizabeth Wangari.

Cherished mother-in-law of lsaack Kamau. Margaret Maina, and Anne Kariuki A doting auntie, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Funeral meetings are being held daily at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, from 5.30 pm and at the family home in Maguguni.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital on Tuesday, 23rd September 2025 at 8.00 am for burial at the family home in Maguguni, along Thika–Garissa Highway.

Daughter of the late Evanson Kamau Kariara and the late Serah Njeri Munderu.

Wife of the late Mzee Daniel Mburu Njonge. Mother of the late Elizabeth Wambui, Sarah Njeri, Gerald Njonge, Evans Kamau, Priscilla Gathoni. George Kioi, Jane Njoki, the late Anne Wairimu, Esther Wanja, Peter Mwaura, the late Mary Wanjiku, Esther Mburu, Samson Mwaura and the late Francis Nyamu.

Mother-in-law of Edward Kariuki, Samson Wanjogu, Benson Kibugi, Peter Karobia, Chris Mwina, Tabitha Waithera, Caroline Njeri, Jecinta Wanjiru, and Ruth Njeri. Sister of Peter Mwaura Kariara and Francis Nyamu. Grandmother to 46 and great grandmother to 26.

Devoted husband of Bilha Wahito Wamanji. Loving father of Joshua Kariuki Wamanji, James Munyoroku Wamanji and Jonathan Njuguna Wamanji.

Born: 1/1/1926 – Rested: 1319/2025

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Elizabeth Njoki Mugwe which occurred on 13th September 2025.

Elizabeth was daughter of the late Macharia Kanjira and Gathoni Macharia of Muranga County, Kihuro Sub-county, Gathamba location, Gatheru sub location, Gatheru Village. She was sister of Beatrice Mugure Muraguri of Katarina.

She was the beloved mother of Mwathi (Eastleigh), Jennifer Mbatia (Umoja), the late Nelius, Grace (Eastleigh), Pastor ldah Mwangi, (Ruiru), Macharia Mugwe (ES KNUT, Nairobi Branch), Njeri Kamau (Kiambu High), Pastor Beatrice (Deliverance Church), Loise (Mombasa), Emily (Kiserean).

She was the mother-in-law of Ann Mwathi, Ephantus Mbatia, the late John Mwangi, Peter Kamau, Ann Njeri Macharia, Pastor Lazarus Gitonga and James Kinuthia Irungu.

Elizabeth Njoki was a loving aunt of Murage, the late Macharia, Mwaniki, Muthoni, Nduta, Mwangi, Wangeci, Maina and Machaga. She was a grandmother of 20 grandchildren and was honoured to see 11 of her great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University funeral home (Thika road) on 24th September 2025 at 7.00am for the funeral service at Gatheru Trinity Church- Murang’a at 11:00am.

Doty, it’s been one year since you left us, but the memories of your sparkling personality and infectious laughter remain vivid in our minds.

George Gitogo Karungu (Sir George)

We regret to announce the passing of our beloved George Gitogo Karungu (Sir George), who rested peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025, at his Lanet-Nakuru home, surrounded by family.

Beloved husband of Rachel Muthoni Gitogo and in-law of the Mathea Wanguirubi family.

He was the son of the late Karungu wa Gitogo (Kenyatta) and Wanjiru Njagi. He was step-son of Wairimu, Wambui, Njeri, and Wanjiku. Cherished brother of Wanjiku, Njeri, Mugure, and Wambui (all late); step brother of William Gitogo, Mukami, Jane Wanjiku, Isaac Gitogo, Wangeci, and Waitheru: the late Danson Ndwekia and late Peter Mwangi.

He was the loving father of Tom Mbuthia Gitogo (Britam) and Lydia, Catherine Wanjiru (Nakuru East Secondary) and Watoro, Serah Wangari (Ngukuni Special Unit, Makueni County), David Wainaina (Dagma) and Agnes, and Winrose Wanjiku (Nyandarua National Polytechnic).

He was a grandfather to many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his Rurii home, Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County followed by burial thereafter at the same venue.
