With hearts full of love and deep sadness, we share the news of the passing of John Oluoch Onyango (Retired Director of Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Mbita) on the 4th of October 2025 after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Japuonj Fredrick Arthur Onyango and Meresia Adhiambo Onyango and Son-in-law of the late Tranquillino Solis and the late Narcisa Ella.

He was the loving husband of Dolores Onyango and a loving father of Timothy Solis Onyango and Maria Teresa Onyango. John was the dotting grandfather of Zoey Monae Omondi.

John was a brother of Pamela Onyango, Nicholas Onyango, Elizabeth Siso, the late Samuel Were, Eric Omondi, the late Caleb Onyango and Francis Otieno.

He was the brother in law of Dorothy Onyango, Alice Were, Josephine Omondi and Christina Otieno. He was a cousin, uncle and friend of many whose kind and lively nature touched countless lives.

Funeral arrangements and fundraising are ongoing and contributions are being channeled via MPESA to Till number 6880158 (Lynn Mercy Adhiambo).

The cortege will leave Kwee Farewell Home on Thursday the 23rd of October 2025 and proceed to hold the funeral service at ACK St. Stephen’s Church (main Cathedral) Kisumu at 12 noon. The burial will take place on the 24th of October 2025 at the family’s home in Seme Kadero, Kisumu County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ezekiel ldwasi Avihama on October 15, 2025, following a long illness that he faced with remarkable courage and strength.

Ezekiel was the beloved son of the late Benjamin Avihama and the late Esther Juma of Givudianyi village, Maragoli.

He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, the late Magaret Negesa. He was a devoted father of Edward Ambuga, Hellen Imali, Kennedy Alumada, Bernard Avihama, Lucy Mugasia, the late Ronald M’mbwanga, Patrick Odanga, and Peter Alwena.

Ezekiel was a loving brother of the late David Lwenya, the late Paul Masidza, the late Ephraim Konzolo, Zipporah Chazia, the late Beldina Kanguha, Milka Kavaya, Mary Murengeka, Ronika Chukunzira, the late Japhet Gavala, the late Flora Indusa, Elizabeth Kamonya, and the late Joseph Keronye.

He was also a son-in-law of the late Paul M’mbwanga and the late Yonga M’mbwanga.

The cortege will depart from MTRH Funeral Home, Eldoret, on October 27, 2025, for his home in Mitua village, Tongaren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM at his home in Mitua Village, Tongaren Sub County, Bungoma County, next to Mitua Girls School

As we gather to celebrate her beautiful life, we remember the love, laughter, and light she brought to all who knew her.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Agnes Kasisye Ngui on 19th October 2025. She was a member of staff at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).

She was the loving mother of Duein Mwendwa. Agnes was the first born daughter of late Florence Beth Ngui. She was beloved sister of Kathini Bernice (Kwa Vonza Primary) and Mesh Emmah ((lima Fashions). She was a devoted aunt of Dylan and Daryl Mutua, and baby Sifa.

She was the granddaughter of Lenah Ngui.

She was also a caring cousin of Sammy Maithya, Florence Beth, Joshua Ngui, See, Beth, Kasele,Vele, Rhoda among many, and a beloved niece of Agnes Mwalimu Maithya Ngui, Simeon Ngui. and Kavata Ngui. Sister in-law of the late Timothy Mutua.

Family, friends and colleagues are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at La’ Baita Lounge Upper Hill and her residence at KNH from 6.00 PM.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Saturday 25th October 2025 at 6.00 AM for burial service and internment at her rural home at llovi Village, Ndunguni, Yatta Sub- location, Lower Yatta Sub-county, Kitui County.

He was a treasured nephew of Murigu, Ndei, Wagate, Mugendi, Joseph, Alphonse, Calvince, Edward, Francis, George, Michael, Maurice, Patrick, Geoffrey, and Evance. Beloved nephew of aunties Susan, Lucy, Phoebe, Tabitha, and Christine.

The late Anthony Kamau Mwangi was beloved third born son of the late Phillip King’ongto Gachagwa and the late Bilha Wangu King’ong’o. He was a brother of the late George Muchemi, Simon Muriithi, Peter Wachira, the late Ann Wangui, the late Lawrence Ndungu, John Kinyua and Francis Kiiru.

Anthony was a loving husband of Catherine Wanjira Kamau and a caring father of Evelyn Wangu, Caroline Muthoni and Philip Mwangi.

He was a loved son In-law of the late Miano Gikandi and the late Wangui Miano.

He was the father In-law of Alvin Kimoita and Elizabeth Warnbui.

Babu was a dedicated grandfather, of Angela Wanjira, Idris Ndirangu, Nina Njeri, Sifa Musanga, Eliana Muthoni, Neema Wanjira, and Zion Kamau. He was a cherished uncle, cousin, nephew, brother inlaw, friend and father figure to many. He will be greatly missed.

Daily Funeral arrangements are been conducted at St Andrews Church Nairobi and at his Nanyuki home, Sirimon farm at Ngenia Njeru.

The burial will be held on Tuesday 28/10/2025, at his Sirimon farm Nanyuki. The cortege leaves Cottage hospital Nanyuki at 8.00am.

She was Mother of Rose Nieri and Stephen Kiarie Njoroge (Naivasha), Peter Njenga Kungu and Phyliss Njambi (USA), Naomi Wanjiru Kungu, Mary sWambui Kungu (USA), Judy Ngendo Kungu (USA), David Mugo Kungu.

Sister of the late Mary Ngendo Mugo, Mary Njambi (USA), late Margaret Waithira, Rose Wania (Germany), late John Njuguna, Elizabeth Thithii (USA).

Grandmother of Nicole Wairimu Njenga, Sheldon Njenga, Kamau Mugo, Wairimu Mugo, Mafia Malala, Robert Malala, Averry Ngendo, Simon Njoroge Kiarie, Alice Njoki Kiarie. Great grandmother to many.
