It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sleeping of Shujaa Mama Justa William Ogoti of Geseneno Nyamira County who rested on 25th Sept. 2025.

She was wife of Mzee John Ogoti Kiriama and co-wife of Mama Mary Nyangweso Ogoti.

She was the last-born child of the late William Ndansangia Namfua and Prisca Namfua of Mkuu, Rombo Tanzania.

She was mother of Prof. Herman Kiriama, Gilbert, Rose, Crispine, Janet, Beatrice, Lilian, Edna, Rachel, Violet and Fred. Stepmother of Duke, Joyce, Peter, Sammy, Damaris, Thomas and Gladys.

Daughter-in-law of the late Kiriama Omanwa and Kerubo Kiriama, Kombo, Onundu, Moenga, Onduko, Kieya, Biashara and Ondieki Omanwa.

She was sister of Faustine, Pascal, Justi, Ephraim, Marcel and Jacob (all late), Sister Claudia, Shaflet, Rogati, Marceline Michael and Raphaila all of Mkuu, Rombo Tanzani.

Co-wife of Jelia, Josephine, Mary, Kerebi, Yunes and Alice.

She was sister in law of Bathseba, late Sikweya, late Bwoma, Ochengo, Japheth Mayaka, late Joash, Mary and Marita and many others. Cousin of late Onyancha, Moses, Daniel, Omanwa, late Zachary, late Charles, late Ochengo, Mongare and David.

The funeral will be held on Friday, 24th October, at her home in Nzevea village, Masii ward, Machakos County.

He was the beloved son of Simion Sinkeet Ole Mutungei and Ann Nenkoti Sinkeet, and step-son of the late Grace Naituyu Sinkeet, Miriam Rakonik Sinkeet and Joyce Mukure Sinkeet.

He was a loving husband of Judith Lagat Tanchu, and son-in-law of the late Anthony Limo and Mary Agnes Lagat. They are blessed with three children: Nicole Sian Tanchu, Sean Solitei Tanchu, and Jesse Leyian Tanchu. He was also a devoted foster father of Lee Kitty and Laura Kitur.

He was brother of the late Rayon Matiko, Samuel Nakudana, Teketi Antie, Mutete Noonkileti, Kikese Tirkuale, Jackson Matayen, Stanley Tinkoy, Daniel Tompo, Nathaniel Kasaro, Jeremiah Kipinkat, Walter Sakayian, Sinchore Sainepu, Edward Parmutia, John Kupero, Sinkiyian Ntetuka, Joseph Moinket, the late Benard Taieu, Satan Keponyi, Siteyla Leykapas, the late Harrison Kinding’ie, Alex Legis, Paul Kikanal, Nakaya Solonka, Moses Ntayia, Emily Nasei, Tumelei Olootu, Sanayo Mutuma, Nashipae Saruni, Julius Parsaoti, Nancy Saiton, Semitie Njathi and the late Timothy Tipatet.

Until his demise, Joshua was the Marketing Coordinator for East Africa at VERED HASHARON, an Israeli Travel Group of Companies. He previously worked with Kenya Airways (Manager KQ Holidays).

There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, 5th October 2025. at his Namolok Home in Kitengela, starting at 1.00 p.m.

The funeral service and burial will take place at the same venue on Friday, 17th October 2025, from 11:00 a.m.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Peter Waititu Gatuma of Giakanja Village, Giakanja Sublocation; Nyeri Central Sub-County which occurred on Thursday October 9th, 2025 at the Nairobi Hospital.

He was son of Patrick Gatuma Muraguri and Lilian Wanjiru Gatuma and Father of Patrick Gatuma Waititu. He was brother to: Timothy Muraguri (USA), Wairimu Gatuma-Nzivo, and brother in law of Andrew Nzivo.

He was uncle of Patrick Gatuma, Robert Gatuma and Malakai Gatuma and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at CITAM Valley Road Church from 5.30 P.M and also at his rural home Giakanja Village, Nyeri Central Sub-County from 5.30 P.m.

A memorial service will take place at CITAM Valley Road Church from 1 1:00 AM on Thursday 16, 2025.

The cortege leaves KU Referral Funeral Home on Saturday October 18,2025 at 7:00 AM, for final rites at their farm in Giakanja Village, Giakanja Sublocation; Nyeri Central Sub-County.

She was mother-in-law of the late Betty, Margaret,William, Joseph, Lydia, Dickson, Paul, Andrew, Shanice, Vitalis and Grace.

Daughter of late Kiriswo Arap Samoei, late Taplilei Kiriswo and Talai Kiriswo. Sister of Leboo,Arap Kiriswo, the late Leleito, the late Leah Teriki Timbomei, Christina Kurere, the late David, the late Joshua. Zipporah Bowen, Lisa Cheruiyot, Teriki Lagat,Teriki Kimaru and the late James.

She was daughter in-law of the late Mzee Kiptanui arap Cheptoo-Kiptonge, Teriki Tapkigen Tanui and Martha Tulo Tanui. Sister-in-law of Paulina Cheburet, Jane Ngaruiya, Chemut, Samson, Cllr. Moses Kiptonge, Edna Kosgei, Late John Kitilit, Jane Kitilit, Kipchumba and late Rumbas. She was blessed with 43 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends meet daily at her home in Saos, Eldama Ravine, Baringo County and at AIC Milimani, Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements.

A fundraiser has been scheduled for Thursday, 16th October 2025, at AIC Milimani, Nairobi from 530 PM.
