He was the beloved son of Joseph Wanyoike Ng’ang’a and Lucy Wanjiru Wanyoike. Brother of Naomi Wangari Wanyoike (Zawadi School Eastleigh) and Annie Wanyoike (Rafiki Microfinance Bank).

Brother in-law of Anthony Ndirangu.

He was loving uncle of Benson, Asunter, Tamara, Amelia and Arianna. He was a cherished nephew, cousin, and a friend to many.

Mother in-law of Susan Murimi, Jimmy Nyerere, Beth Mwai, Rachel King’uru. She was a doting grandmother of Sharon & Jeremiah Wahome; Tiana & Natasha Murimi; Keisha & Ashley Nyerere; Githinji & Kagema Mwai; Nuru, joy & Zoe King’uru. Great grandmother of Dior Myla Kawira.

Director, Research and Trade Policy Analysis Directorate, of the State Department of Trade. Daktari rested on 26th September 2025 at 00:45 am, while undergoing treatment at The Nairobi West Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Teresa Masibo, headteacher Sirende Comprehensive School and beloved father of Brian, Ian, Joy, Marilyn, and John.

Daktari was brother of Phillip Simiyu, Peter Simiyu, Noah Simiyu, Geoffrey Saratuki, Seline Wabwoba, Josephine Sikhoya and Caroline Simiyu.

He was brother-in-law of John Wechuli, Edward Wechuli, Rose Wechuli, Mary Wechuli and others. He was uncle, colleague and friend to many.

The body will be transported from the Nairobi West Hospital Morgue to the family residence in Wehoya Farm, Sirende, Kitale on Friday, 10th October 2025, where he will be laid to rest on Saturday, 11th October 2025.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Olive Kaigongi Ouko on Monday October 06 2025.

Olive was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Ouko and Dr Jennifer Riria. Beloved sister of the late Kathy Makena and Denise Kemunto Nkatha, and a devoted mother of Damien Kimathi and Leylani Musindi.

She was a loving aunty of Sheena, Ivy, Kevin, and Luca and a loving niece, cousin and friend to many.

The National Land Commission fraternity announces with deep sorrow the demise of Simon Kipkoech Chebii (Soya) which occurred on 30th September, 2025, after a long illness. Until his demise he was the Commission’s County Coordinator for Trans Nzoia County.

The late Simon Chebii was the son of Ernest Chebii and Catharina Chebii. He was the son-in-law of Mr and Mrs Paul Chemweno Kapchesoo.

He was the beloved husband of Esther Kangongo Kipkoech. Father of Cynthia Jepchirchir (Iten), Kelvin Kiprop (KMTC), Millicent Jemwetich, Yvonne Jesang (TTC Baringo), Meshack Kipkurgat (Tharaka Nithi University), Martha Jepkemoi (Ziwa Technical College), Lynne Jelimo (Sitotwo Primary School) and Caleb Kipkirui (Tophill Academy).

He was grandfather of Joy, Keziah, Flavian, and Ivan.

Brother of Mwalimu Jackson Chebii (Terikmoi Primary School), Mwalimu Timothy Chebii (Kapsiw Primary School), Andrew Chebii, Caroline Chebii (National Registration, Bureau, Keiyo South), Madam Fridah Chebii (Kiptoim PriMary School), Madam Dorcas Chebii (Loboen JSS) and Bernard Chebii (Longitude Finance — Nairobi).

Hon. Noel Olweny (County Assembly of Kisumu), and Clarice Atieno (County Government of Vihiga).

Mama Salina was a doting and supportive mother-in-law of the late Ibrahim Onyango, the late Patrick Oduk, Rebecca Harambee, Daisy Otieno, Riphath Ochingo, the late Kennedy Oduor, Benson Owano, George Aduwi and Zachary Abok.

A fundraiser to support funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday, 14th October 2025, at the Kisumu County Club, starting from 3:00 p.m. Family, friends, and well-wishers are warmly invited to join and support the family during this time.

Mr. Langat was a beloved son of the late Joseph Koros and Selina Koros.

He was a proud father-in-law of Immaculate Rono and Brenda Rono, and a cherished grandfather of Willy Muria, Wangoi Natasha, Laurance Kimutai and Adrian Kiprotich.

Mr. Langat was a loving brother of Judy Too, Jane Konuche, Regina Korir, Charles Langat, Alphonce Langat, Philip Langat, and Josphat Langat. He was also an uncle, grandfather, and cousin to many family members and friends whose lives he touched deeply.

The family and friends are currently holding daily prayers and making arrangements at his residence in ltembe, Bomet County, as they mourn this great loss.

The cortege will depart from Umash Funeral Home in Nairobi on Friday, 10th October 2025. A requiem mass will he held on the same day at Don Bosco Catholic Chapel in Nairobi, after which the body will be transferred to his home in Bomet County.
