It is with heartfelt sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to eternal glory of Ann Muthoni Wangai on 24th November, 2025 after a long illness.

Ann Muthoni was the beloved daughter of Johnson Wangai Gitahi and Virginia Wanjiku Wangai.

She was a dear wife of Dr. Isaac Kimunio Kinuthia of Kenyata University. Ann was a doting mother of Shirleen Wanjiku Kimunio and Adrian Kinuthia Kimunio.

She was a sister of Cyrus Gitahi, Nicholas Kabira, Leah Wagaki, Duncan Waibochi, Martin Munene, Boniface Kimita, Gabriel Gachuru, jackline Thigi and Maureen Wangari.

She was a loving daughter in law of the late Francis Kinuthia Kihiko and Beatrice Wanjiku Kinuthia. She was a sister inlaw of Mary Muthoni, Godfrey Kihiko, Penis Wambui, the late John Murichu and Joseph Mburu. She was an aunt and cousin to many.

The cortege leaves K.U. Funeral Home – Thika Road, for the funeral service and burial at Kiranga, Kandara constituency Muranga County on Wednesday 3rd December 2023.

Husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Wanjiru Njoroge of Race course Estate Nakuru. He was father of AnnWambui Njoroge of Nairobi, Joseph Kahoro and Juliah Wacuka of Pipeline Nakuru, Stephen Karanja and Cecilia Wacuka of Nairobi, Eunice Wangui and Joseph Njuguna of Mwenia Comprehensive School Nyahururu, Margaret Wanjiku and John Mugo of Nakuru, Kennedy Kamau and Gloria Chepkurui of Nakuru.

Brother of the late Margaret Wanjiku, the late Charles Kamau, the late Canary Mburu, Elizabeth Wairimu, Monicah Gitau, Joseph Muthiga, the late Esther Mumbi and Ann Njeri Kahoro. Step brother of Edward Karnau, the late Joseph Boro, Paul Njoroge, Margaret Wanjiku, Jane Wanja (USA), John Ngure, Josphat Ngugi, James Kamau, Margaret Wanjiru and Rahab Nyambura.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mzee Thomas Walter Orlendo, a retired teacher, headteacher, and senior master who served in various Kenyan schools, including Makini Academy, Nairobi, and Juja Preparatory School, Juja. He passed away on 10th November 2025 at Tophill Hospital, Eldoret, after a long battle with illness.

He was the son of the late Okello Obano Onyango and the late Agnes Atieno Nyarondusu of Siribo (Nasimalwa).

Beloved husband of Mrs. Gladys Anyango Orlendo (Head Teacher, St. Denis Libolina School, Bungoma). Devoted father of David Onyango (Busia), Constant Olendo (Eldoret), Leonard Olendo (St. Catherine’s Special School, Butula), Collins Orlendo (Busia County), Elvis Bahati Orlendo (Uppsala, Sweden), Dr. Cameline Orlendo (Swiss Tropical and Public Health institute, Basel, Switzerland), and Hazel Orlendo (Safaricom, Nairobi). He was a doting grandfather to many.

Brother of Hendrica, Agutu, the late Teresina, the late Magret, the late Abiero, the late Apondi, John Bu, the late Wangaywa, the late Dei, and the late Wesonga. Son-in-law of the late Albert Amolio and Agnes Apondi. Brother-in-law of Jackline, Leila, the late Redempta, Goddy Mareba, Christine Oyara among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his homestead in Namusala Village, Elugulu Location, Butula Sub-County, Busia County.

The cortege leaves Same Day Classmates Sega Mortuary on I st December 2025 for an overnight vigil at his home. The funeral service and burial will take place on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, at the family home in Namusala Village, Elugulu Location.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will1 that we announce the passing of Stephen Gitau Ndirangu (Stevan Computer Garage Khoja -Nairobi).

He was the son of the late Zechariah Ndirangu and the late Grace Wangari.

He was the beloved husband of Philomena Wambui Gitau. He was a loving father of Grace Wangari, Alex Ndirangu, Janet Wairimu and Allan Kageche.

He was brother of Francis Mugo, Josephine Njoki, Peninah Wanjiru, Hannah Nduta aftd Charles Njuguna (Chassy Technologies).

He was son in law of the late Moses Kageche and Grace Wairimu.

He was a grandfather of Malcom Kamwara and Steve Gitau. He was a brother in law, uncle and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Muthithi home, Kianda drive at 4:00pm and at Clarion Hotel Nairobi at 6:00pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral home- Mbagathi Way on Tuesday 2nd December 2025 at 8:00am for burial at his home in Sigona, opposite Sigona Golf Club at 10:30am.

There I will be a memorial service at PCEA Thindigua on Sunday 30th November 2025 starting at 3:00pm.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the promotion to glory of Nancy Wanjiru Ndungu who rested on 24th November, 2025. Until her demise, Nancy was working in the Patent Division of the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI).

She was wife of Richard Mugo and mother of Caleb Mugo and Elsie Mugo.

She was a loving daughter of the late John Ndungu and Margaret Ndungu. She was sister of Caroline Mureithi, Nelty Ndungu, Roseanne Ndungu, Elimartin Ndungu and Jackline Wangechi. She was an aunty to many.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, at PCEA Church of the Torch Thogoto, Kikuyu, at 10.00 am followed by interment at Mutarakwa, Limuru, in Kiambu County.

Nancy fought a good fight she has finished the race and kept the faith. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

She was the adored daughter of the late Joseph Kiruthu Karuku and Rahab Wanjiku Kiruthu.

Beloved wife of Mr. Stephen Mwangi Gatere of Jomo Kenyatta Boys Secondary School. Mother of Rachael, Rahab, Rose, Peninah and Samuel. Doting grandmother of Ryan.

Sister of Peninah Wandia, Joseph Karuku,Agries Wangu, Elizabeth Njeri, Nancy Wanjira, Lucy Nyambura, Samuel Mwangil Stephen Kimondo and Mary Wangui.

She was the sister in law of Joseph Ndumia, Peter Gatere(Pega tours),Teresia Mumbi, Sarah Mukami, Jane Mu o, John Maina, Linus Njuguna, Gitau CGS Naivasha, Macharia (Waku ventures Naivasha) and many others.

She was a loved aunt to her nephews/nieces and a loyal friend to many.

Relatives,friends and colleagues are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Lakeview Estate, Naivasha from 4:00pm, and for committee meetings at Pyramid Hotel, Naivasha.

She was a wife of the late Samuel Thuo Kigera.

She was a sister of the late Njeri, the late Njambi, the late Nduta, the late Mbugua, the late Wanjiru Wanguku, the late Mbatia and Njoki.

She was mother of Mrs Wagiciengo,Agnes Mbugua, Esther Kigera and Stanley Kigera, Esther Kamau and Joseph Kamau, Rose Kanyuiro and Samson Kanyuiro, Millicent Wairiri and Henry Wairiri, Jane Nyakio, Racheal Njambi, Peter Mbugua, James Mbugua, Irene Mwaura and John Mwaura.

She was a grandmother to 34 grandchildren and great grandmother to many.

Meetings for prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at Consolata Parish Hall starting on Friday 28th November 2025.

There shall be a memorial mass on 2nd December 2025 at Consolata Shrine in Westlands at 10.00am.

The burial is scheduled for Thursday 4th December 2025 at her farm in Malewa Village, Kipipiri Constituency, Nyandarua County.

We thank God for the gift of her life and beautiful memories she left us with to treasure forever.

On behalf of the Public Service Commission, Management, and Staff, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Martha Kagwiria Mberia, a staff member of the Commission, who passed away on 19th November 2025.

A public servant who carried out her duties with humility, enthusiasm, and dedication, The Commission has lost a diligent and committed officer.

Martha was the daughter of the late Kennedy Barii and Beatrice Kaimuri; beloved wife of Julius Karuti; and loving mother of Whitney Karuti, Victor Munene, Tracey Karuti, and Abigail Upendo.

She was sister of Lydia Makena, Edward Mwenda, Moses Ntoinya, and Peter Kaiyongi.

She was daughter-in-law of the late Samuel M’elingo, Margaret Ngeera, and Nkatha, Elingo; and sister-in-law of Zipporah, the late Kinanturu, Martha Kagwiria Mberia Sabina, and Geoffrey among others. She was a cousin and aunt to many.

Our memories of her will never fade, but will grow stronger and more colourful through God’s grace and comfort. We remain grateful for the time we were blessed to share with her.

A Memorial Service was held on 26th November 2025 in Komarock Methodist Church Nairobi at 2.00pm.
