Devoted father of Evelyn Gathoni Kigwe & Andrew Karanja, Edwin Ruel Muinamia, the late Thomas Victor Njoroge & Leah Njoroge, Joan Gakenia Murithi & Eric Murithi, Anthony Geoffrey Njiru & Grace Njiru, Andrew Aaron Mwangi & Yvonne Mwangi and Jane Wanjiru Ngugi & Emmanuel Ngugi.

Dotting grandfather of Jaguar Marimbi, Moses Njoroge, Nathan PK Kigwe, jasmine Njeri, Jessica Nkirote, Shenna Murithi, Nathan Murithi, Cherrie Cassiah, Atarah Njeri, Hazel Gathoni, Shasha Wangeci, Raymond Marimbi, Raphael Njenga, Salome Wanjiku, Deborah Njeri and Samuel Kamau.

He was son of the late Ruel Muinamia Njiru and the late Keziah Gathoni Muinamia of Rungiri, Kikuyu,

He was brother of the late Geoffrey Njiru, Samuel Gichuhi, the late James Crispal Kanja, the late Charles Kinuthia, Williamson Kimani, the late Jane Wanjiru Wanene, Pauline Wanjiku, Dr Zipporah Nduta, the late Charity Wangari and the late Moses Njonge,

Meetings are going on at his Cliff Top Estate home daily from 6PM.

The cortege leaves Nazareth Hospital Mortuary Banana at 9.00am on Wednesday 26th November 2025 for funeral Mass from 10am at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church Muchatha followed by interment at the family home in Rungiri, Kikuyu.

Norman Macharia Njeru

(1968 – 2025)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of Norman Macharia Njeru of Gakwegori Village, Kyeni South Location Embu County on 22nd November 2025 after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Stanley Ireri Njeru and the late Monicah Wanja lreri. He was also son of Esther Njerenga and Margret Nyaga.

He was husband of Joyce Njura. Father of John Ireri, Eric Murimi and Bhakita Wanja.

Brother of Dr Grace Gakiria, Peter Ndwiga (Chuka), Henry Njerenga (CIC), Catherine Njeru (Nairobi Hospital) and Lucy Njeru.

Son-in-law of Japhat Munyi and the late Pelita Mukuru.

Brother-in-law of Sam, Nancy, Carol, Ralf, the late Peter, Alice, Rowald, Susan, Norman, Dorothy and Aslipon. He was an uncle, nephew, cousin, grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Holy Family Basilica on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th November 2025 from 5:30PM. Daily meeting are taking place at his home in Gakwegori Kyeni.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home Embu on Friday 28th November 2025 at 7:30AM. There will be a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Kyeni Parish, at 10:00 AM followed by final internment at his home in Gakwegori, Kyeni South, Embu County.

He was son of Bernard Njoroge (Late) and Philomena Wanjiku (Late).

Husband of Nancy Njuguna. Father of Christine (Late), Andrew, Sammy, and Julie.

Brother of Monica, Anthony, Bernard, Joseph, Teresia (Late), Margaret, Paul (USA), Mary and Lucy.

In-law of Mr.& Mrs. Okungu and brother in-law to many.

He was an uncle to many and grandfather to Francis, Jamal, Ethan and many others.

Meetings daily at his South B home and at Holy Family Basilica from 5.00 p.m. on weekdays.

Mzee Stephen Ongori-Manga’bo Nyamao Kobokobo

With deep sadness and heartfelt gratitude to God, we announce the passing of our beloved Patriarch—Mzee Stephen Ongori-Mang’abo—on 8th November 2025, after a remarkable and impactful journey spanning from 1934 to 2025.

Mzee Stephen was a devoted husband of the late Helen Bosiboril and Rachel Magoma, a pillar of strength and wisdom in their home.

He was a loving father of Ruth, Nyaboke. Jane, Dr-Josephine, Rael, Reuben, Elijah, Naomi, Kennedy, Wycliffe, Vincent, Irene, McLoud, Maureen, and Douglas, and a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

His life was a testament to humility, resilience, faith, and unwavering commitment to family and community.Those who knew him will forever remember his kindness, his steady spirit, and the lessons he impacted through both words and example.

He was brother of the late Isaiah Abwao, Lawi Otiende, Jackson Andeto, the late Jairus Ounza, Agnes Ondiso, Roseline Atieno and the late Grace Akelo.

He was brother-in-law of Protus, Cleophas, Chrispinus, Reginald, the late Stanely, the late Charles, Bridgit, Pamela among others.

He was uncle of Nicole,Marion,Lisa, Lawi, Sharon, Flavian, Clint, Adrian, Cynthia, Fabian, Brian, Bevalyn, Kellian among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his family home in Bidii, Maziwa Village in Kitale from 5pm to 6pm.

The cortege will leave the Cherangany Funeral Home on Thursday 27th November 2025. Thereafter, a memorial service there will be held to celebrate his life. The burial will be at his Bidii farm, TransNzoia County, Maziwa Sublocation in Kitale on Friday 28th November 2025.

The cortege will depart from Butere Level Four Hospital on Friday 28th November 2025 for a  church service at St. Paul ACK Church Shirotsa and then proceed to the family home at Shirotsa Ikoko for an overnight vigil.

The funeral service and burial rites will be done on Saturday 29th November 2025.

Emy Nawanjaya Siganga went to be with the Lord on Sunday 16th November 2025 after a brave fight with illness.

Dearest mother of Dinah Nerima and Wandibba Benjamin Simiyu (Junior).

Daughter of the late Christopher Siganga and the late Dinah Nerima, the late Robai Andega, the late Bethsheba Adhiambo, Naomi Illamwenya and the late Beulah. Sister of the late Leila Ahmed, Isabella Ombwayo,Violet Nandechia, Douglas Waudo, Pamela Ligaga, the late Elsie Nawanjaya,Walter Wesonga, the late Christine Wandera, Polly Asikoye, Dorica lyadi, the late Edith Jenkins, Joyce Sande, the late Jo-Anne Okwara, Beauttah Alukhava, Georgina Ndombi, Eric Waudo, Eliud Lusinde, ECF Waudo and Dave Lung’aho.

Cousin of the Khaembas, Mukhoves,Wangias, Munyasas,Wambijis and Waudos.

Sunrise: 31st August, 1992 — Sunset: 15th November, 2025

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Nancy Atieno Ogola of the Parliamentary Service Commission which occurred on 15th November, 2025. Nancy was a diligent officer, dedicated athlete and a very friendly person.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Ogola Handa and Consolata Ogola.

Together with Julius Otieno Ogare, they had two children Liam and Kyla.

She was the loving sister of Betty, Sharon (late),Vincent (late), Vicky and Brenda.

She was the doting aunt of Kylen,Vinny, Gift, Elian, Saint and Cindy and a sister-in-law of Wilson and John Paul.

She was a cousin of Jo Ka-Wamonje and a daughter, friend, niece, to many, her memory will forever remain engraved in our hearts.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, 26th November, 2025 at St. Joseph and Mary Catholic Church in Shauri Moyo, Nairobi from 220 pm.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence at Jekima Flats, Jogoo road, Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Her body will be laid to rest at her family home in Dendyo Village, Ugunja Constituency, Siaya County on 29th November, 2025.

Nancy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched. Nancy, your positive attitude, hard work and dedication have made a lasting impact on all of us.

It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Sonia Nzilani, County Executive Committee Member (CECM), Trade, Marketing, Industry, Culture & Tourism, Makueni County which occurred on 22nd November 2025.

Dr. Sonia was a devoted and loving mother of Angel Marion Wangui of New Light Academy Kitengela and and Nelson Mandela.

She was the beloved daughter of James Musyoki Mbwele and Grace Wayua Musyoka.

She is survived by her father and siblings Ann Syombua, Robert Muia and Raphael Muindi.

Dr. Nzilani was a loving aunt to Gladys Kalunde, Shirlyn Wavinya, Caro Mueni and Leah Musenya among others and nephews, Muendo, Mike, Musyoka and James Muthee among others.

She was equally cherished by her aunts Wamaitha and Martha, and her uncles Muthiani Mutiso, Paul Mutiso and Stephen Obed.

Dr. Sonia Nzilani lived a life defined by service, humility and unwavering dedication. She touched countless lives with her warm spirit,  her passion for environmental stewardship, and her steadfast commitment to her family, Community and County.

She will be laid to rest on 29th November, 2025 in Makindu, Makueni County.
