He was the son of the late Stanley Ireri Njeru and the late Monicah Wanja lreri. He was also son of Esther Njerenga and Margret Nyaga.

He was husband of Joyce Njura. Father of John Ireri, Eric Murimi and Bhakita Wanja.

Brother of Dr Grace Gakiria, Peter Ndwiga (Chuka), Henry Njerenga (CIC), Catherine Njeru (Nairobi Hospital) and Lucy Njeru.

Son-in-law of Japhat Munyi and the late Pelita Mukuru.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home Embu on Friday 28th November 2025 at 7:30AM. There will be a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Kyeni Parish, at 10:00 AM followed by final internment at his home in Gakwegori, Kyeni South, Embu County.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Nancy Atieno Ogola of the Parliamentary Service Commission which occurred on 15th November, 2025. Nancy was a diligent officer, dedicated athlete and a very friendly person.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Ogola Handa and Consolata Ogola.

Together with Julius Otieno Ogare, they had two children Liam and Kyla.

She was the loving sister of Betty, Sharon (late),Vincent (late), Vicky and Brenda.

She was the doting aunt of Kylen,Vinny, Gift, Elian, Saint and Cindy and a sister-in-law of Wilson and John Paul.

She was a cousin of Jo Ka-Wamonje and a daughter, friend, niece, to many, her memory will forever remain engraved in our hearts.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, 26th November, 2025 at St. Joseph and Mary Catholic Church in Shauri Moyo, Nairobi from 220 pm.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence at Jekima Flats, Jogoo road, Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements.

It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Sonia Nzilani, County Executive Committee Member (CECM), Trade, Marketing, Industry, Culture & Tourism, Makueni County which occurred on 22nd November 2025.

Dr. Sonia was a devoted and loving mother of Angel Marion Wangui of New Light Academy Kitengela and and Nelson Mandela.

She was the beloved daughter of James Musyoki Mbwele and Grace Wayua Musyoka.

She is survived by her father and siblings Ann Syombua, Robert Muia and Raphael Muindi.

Dr. Nzilani was a loving aunt to Gladys Kalunde, Shirlyn Wavinya, Caro Mueni and Leah Musenya among others and nephews, Muendo, Mike, Musyoka and James Muthee among others.

She was equally cherished by her aunts Wamaitha and Martha, and her uncles Muthiani Mutiso, Paul Mutiso and Stephen Obed.

Dr. Sonia Nzilani lived a life defined by service, humility and unwavering dedication. She touched countless lives with her warm spirit,  her passion for environmental stewardship, and her steadfast commitment to her family, Community and County.

She will be laid to rest on 29th November, 2025 in Makindu, Makueni County.
