It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. David Kiprono Ngetich, which occurred on Monday 26′ January 2026 in Bloomington Minnesota, USA.

He was the devoted son of Mr. Anthony Rotich (formerly of Postal Corporation of Kenya) and Petronilla Rotich (formerly of NCPB).

Loving husband of Regina Ngetich, doting father of Chelsea Ngetich, Anthony Ngetich and Ian Rono.

He was a brother of John Ngetich, Francis Ngetich,Veronica Rotich, Gladys Rotich Klarie, late Vincent Rotich and Sally Rotich.

Brother-in-Law of Asenath Yagan Ngetich, Jeniffer Schleck Ngetich, Alfred Okenye and Benson Eddie Kiarie.

Uncle of Taplule Ngetich, Kigen Langat, Leilani Ngetich, Vincent Ngetich, Sean Rotich, Ella Kiarie, and Zedekiah Okenye.

David was a grandchild of the late Pius Kirui and late Veronica Kirui, late Mary Kirui, Petrolina Kirui together with late Stephano and late Rosa Sinei.

He was nephew of the late Wilhelmina Langat, Teresia Tanui, Pascalia Kirui, late Sabina Bomsut, Philip Ranch, Joseph Rotich, Jane Ngetich, Julia.na Sipala and Cornelius Rotich, the late Mark Koech, the late Helena Kosgei, the late Elizabeth Chesang, Paul Koech, Christopher Koech, Pascalia Too, the late Cornelly Rotich, the late Peninah Sinei and Marcell Koech. He was a cousin to many.

A requiem mass is scheduled for Thursday, February 26, at Don Bosco Upper Hill Catholic Church from 2.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbag-ath; Road on Friday, February 27, at 7.00am. The funeral will take place at his parents’ home in Sebetet Village. Cheptuiyer Location. Sigowet Division, Kericho County on Saturday, February 28 2026 at 10.00am.

Born: 13-03-1965 — Died: 21-02-2026

The Archdiocese of Nairobi announces the death of Rev. Fr. Anthony Peter Mutunga Kiarie.

He was a son of Henry Michael Kiarie Wakaba and Teresia Wagure Kiarie. Brother of the late Patrick Wakaba Kiarie, the late Silvester Kamau Kiarie, Thomas Thuo Kiarie, Joseph Njuguna Kiarie, James Kimani Kiarie, Edward Wanjema Kiarie, Mary Nyagititu Kiarie, Cecilia Wanjiku Kiarie and Francis Githiri Kiarie.

Beloved uncle of Carol, Mark, Michael, Thuku, Charity, Henry, Wagure, Njeri, Glady, Rose, Nick, Kiarie, Njoroge, Kagure, Shi, Dave,Tony, Mercy, Ian, Gitau, Brian and many others.

Fr. Peter has served in many parishes in the Archdiocese, among them, Githunguri, Mutomo, Kiriko, Thigio, Parklands, Mulumba, Kereita, St. Patrick’s Thika, Gicharani, St. Michael’s Otiende, Mang’u, Membley, Karuri among others.

Requiem Masses will be celebrated as follows:Tuesday 24th February, Wednesday 25th February, Monday 2nd March and Tuesday 3rd March at their Komo Munyu home starting at 2.00 pm. On Thursday 26th February & Thursday 5″‘ March at St. Martin De Porres Parish, Karuri starting at 4.00 pm. On Saturday 28th February at Mary Magdalene Parish, Munyu starting at 2.00 pm.

The Funeral will be held on Friday 6th March 2026. The cortege leaves the Mater Misericordiae Hospital Mortuary at 8.00 am. Funeral Mass will start at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Msongari grounds, thereafter interment at the clergy cemetery.

We extend very special thanks to Dr. Charles Kariuki and his associates, who walked faithfully with Martin throughout his illness with dedication, patience and genuine concern. Our sincere appreciation also goes to the ICU team at the Nairobi Hospital for their tireless efforts, kindness and dignified care during a very difficult time.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Angela L. Ursin, also known as Angela Adongo Ngurre, wife of the late Ole Ursin and an alumna of Alliance Girls’ High School. Angela passed away on 6th February 2026 at Kenyatta University Hospital (KUTTRH) following a brief illness.

She was the eldest daughter of Sylvia A. Ngurre and the late William A. Ngurre. Angela was a beloved granddaughter-of the late James Robert Ngurre, Alice Ngurre, Mzee Abednego Okungu Ogal, Mary Okungu, Elizabeth N. Okungu, and Teresa Okungu. She was a cherished sister of Camilla Ngurre Paul; the late Beryl A. Ngurre; Brenda A. Ngurre; James R. (Caesar) Ngurre; and Hogan (Ramogi) Udoakang.

Angela was a devoted mother and aunt of Darryl Ole Ursin; the late Sylvia Achieng Ngurre; Yvonne A. Ngurre; Faith A. Ngurre; Bianca M. Ngurre, and Sharwin N. Ngurre.

She was a loving niece on her father’s side of the late George O. Ngurre and the late Pamela Ngurre; the late Douglas Ngurre; the late Joseph O. Elijah Teya Sitimah built a distinguished career as a Homan Resource Manager, serving in VarlOt” capacities across several organizations in the country including Lloyd Masika, the Nairobi Hospital, Safaricorn, Nestle’ Kenya, East African Br eweries Limited, ISO BP-0 and G4S where he served as Regional Human Resource Director.

He also served as Chairperson of the Institute of Human Resource Management in Kenya and is specially credited with leading the first Council following the enactment of the Human Resource Management Professionals Act, laying a strong foundation for institute’s governance, growth and professional standards.

His legacy of integrity, service and commitment remain: firmly embedded in the hearts of the many professionals he mentored, guided and inspired throughout his distinguished career, and in the hearts of all who knew him.
