Son of the late JosphatWaichahi Nduru and late Margaret Wangui Gachomo. He is brother of the late Consolata Wanjugu, Godfrey Gachomo, Philip Gikonyo, Jane Wakarima, Sophia Wothaya, Jimmy Munene and Jane

Loving husband of Susan Wanjiku Kiragu and devoted father of Anthony, Nancy, Samuel, Margaret, Elizabeth, and John. Loving grandfather of Ethan, Arianna Karl, Myles, Alani, Zayne, and Shayan. A loving uncle, friend, and mentor to many.

Burial arrangement meetings are held at his Utawala residence and Gatoyo in Eastleigh Section 3.

The burial date is set for 25th February 2026 at his rural home in Kagonye. Othaya in Nyeri County.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the team at Madras Hospital, India, for their professionalism, care and compassion throughout his treatment. We extend very special thanks to Dr. Charles Kariuki and his associates, who walked faithfully with Martin throughout his illness with dedication, patience and genuine concern. Our sincere appreciation also goes to the ICU team at the Nairobi Hospital for their tireless efforts, kindness and dignified care during a very difficult time.

We also extend deep appreciation to PCEA St. Andrews Parish, PCEA Kileleshwa Church for the spiritual nourishment, prayers, generous financial support and physical presence. Your encouragement and fellowship gave us strength and comfort_.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Angela L. Ursin, also known as Angela Adongo Ngurre, wife of the late Ole Ursin and an alumna of Alliance Girls’ High School. Angela passed away on 6th February 2026 at Kenyatta University Hospital (KUTTRH) following a brief illness.

She was the eldest daughter of Sylvia A. Ngurre and the late William A. Ngurre. Angela was a beloved granddaughter-of the late James Robert Ngurre, Alice Ngurre, Mzee Abednego Okungu Ogal, Mary Okungu, Elizabeth N. Okungu, and Teresa Okungu. She was a cherished sister of Camilla Ngurre Paul; the late Beryl A. Ngurre; Brenda A. Ngurre; James R. (Caesar) Ngurre; and Hogan (Ramogi) Udoakang.

Angela was a devoted mother and aunt of Darryl Ole Ursin; the late Sylvia Achieng Ngurre; Yvonne A. Ngurre; Faith A. Ngurre; Bianca M. Ngurre, and Sharwin N. Ngurre.

She was a loving niece on her father’s side of the late George O. Ngurre and the late Pamela Ngurre; the late Douglas Ngurre; the late Joseph O. Elijah Teya Sitimah built a distinguished career as a Homan Resource Manager, serving in VarlOt” capacities across several organizations in the country including Lloyd Masika, the Nairobi Hospital, Safaricorn, Nestle’ Kenya, East African Br eweries Limited, ISO BP-0 and G4S where he served as Regional Human Resource Director.

He also served as Chairperson of the Institute of Human Resource Management in Kenya and is specially credited with leading the first Council following the enactment of the Human Resource Management Professionals Act, laying a strong foundation for institute’s governance, growth and professional standards.

His legacy of integrity, service and commitment remain: firmly embedded in the hearts of the many professionals he mentored, guided and inspired throughout his distinguished career, and in the hearts of all who knew him.

Daily meetings are being held at his home in Nairobi.

The family of the late Mwalimu Gerald Herbert Akivaga Jayuga regrets to announce his untimely passing on Saturday, 31st January 2026, at his home after a sudden illness.

Mwalimu Gerald was a beloved husband of Jones Nanyama and the late Jane lminza Mmbaya, and a devoted father of Adams Ndenga, Christine Akivaga, Sally Akivaga, Advocate Allan Akivaga, Vivian Akivaga, and Maxwell Akivaga. He was a doting grandfather of Talisha, Paula, Prince, Keith, Lathern, Nina, Zuri,Yanah, and baby Marcos.

He was the cherished son of the late Hezekiah Jayuga and the late Perez Ingasia, and a beloved brother of Everlyn Mwangi, Lona Kadenyi, Macdonald Indangasi, Howard Ombeva, Benson Chadenya, and to the late Enock Mwanzali, the late Joel Muganagani, the late Joyce Jayuga, and the late Sarah Kageha.

He was also a treasured father-in-law, son-in-law and brother-in-law to many who held him dearly.

A dedicated Gerald Herbert educator, counsellor, and church leader, Mwalimu Gerald touched countless lives through his service, wisdom, kindness, and humility. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

The funeral service will be held at his Baraka home in Kitale on 14th February 2026, after which the procession will proceed to his Kephis home in Kitale, where he will be laid to rest at 3:00 PM the same day.
