Born on September 26, 1958.

Florence was the devoted wife of Zachary Gathaara and the beloved daughter of the late Alexander Githanda and the late Charity Wambui. She was a dear sister of Wanjiru, Macharia, Njeri, Maina,Wachira, and the late Mwangi and Wahito.

She was also the loving mother of Ruth, Shalom, Rachel, Benjamin, George, and the late David. She was a beloved aunt and grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at 5:00 pm at her residence in Kahawa Sukari (Kericho Road, 2nd North Avenue).

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRRH) Mortuary on Wednesday 8th April 2026, at 6.30am, for burial in Ihururu Village, Tetu Sub-county in Nyeri County.

He was a beloved husband of Felister Wanja Ndichu.

He was the son of the late David Kimui and the late Loise Wambui of Karinde Village. He was the son-in-law of Priscilla Mumbi of Thika.

He was a loving father of Faith Clara Wambui (UK), Edwin Mugo, Irene Mumbi, and Vincent Kimui. He was a father–in-law of Moses Wainaina (UK), Francis and Beatrice. He was a cherished grandfather of Eugene, Glenn, Zane, Jeanette, Fabian, and Hazel.

He was a dear brother of Josephine, the late Rose Herman, Hellen, Gerald, Kariuki, and Rachel, and uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Thogoto for burial and funeral arrangements.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ndirangu Miingi. She was a loving mother of Tabitha Wambui Maweu, Esther Wahu Waweru, Harun Miingi, Arthur Nginyo, Sophia Njeri, Henry Njenga, Grace Wanjiru Muriithi and Peter Githuku (Njoroge).

She was a mother in law of Mathew Maweu, Norman Waweru, Monicah Nduta,Aidah Wanjiru, Lucy Ngatha, Boniface Muriithi and Lucy Wambui.

Grandmother of Charles, Prince, Marlyam, Jeff, Anita, Ian, Trizah, Vincent, Ann, Alex, Angela, Victoria, Alliana, Kelvin, Sharpen, Renox, Shiku, Joy, Calvin and Malvin.
