It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of Samuel Mwangi Nguyo (Manywele)

Beloved son of the late Peter Nguyo and Agnes Njeri Nguyo. Cherished brother of Virginia Ngima Nguyo, Esther Wambui Nguyo, Charity Muthoni Nguyo, Rufus Gachanja Nguyo and Consolata Wanjiku Nguyo.

Brother-in-law of Simon Mwangi Maina and Dr Kelvin Murigu.

Treasured uncle of Mark Thomas Nguyo, Martin Njuguna, Bernedette Njeri, Gabrielle Njeri, Isabella Njeri, Jesse Kinyua and Megan Wangui.

Samuel was Managing Director of Bar Chef – Mojitos Lounge, Roysambu.

He also served as a Diageo Bar Academy Lead Trainer and previously worked with Tribe Hotel, Mercury Lounge and most recently with Explora Journeys Cruise Line under the MSC Group.

A funds drive meeting will be held at Homeland Inn on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025 from 6.00pm.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital, Karatina, on Friday, 5th December, 2025 at 8.00am.

Thereafter the burial ceremony will take place at his family home in Gikondi Location, Mukurweini Sub-County, Nyeri County.
