It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alfred Romani of Romani Architects, which occurred on Friday, 3rd April 2026.

Beloved husband of Esther Mueni Romani. Loving father of Anne Romani and the late Michael Romani. Stepfather of Winnie Mutunga.

He is son of the late Romani Roki Mallya and the late Anna Romani. Son-in-law of David and Sarah Mutunga of Tala. Brother of Pelagia Romani, John Romani, Tade Romani, Honorata Romani, Brigita Romani, Joakim Romani, Fr. Peter Romani, and Benedeta Romani.

Brother-in-law of Naomi Mutisya, Agnes Mututta (Mutunga Advocates), David Kaunda, Stella Ilumba, Manyela Mutinga, Fridah Mutunga, Charles Mutunga, Elizabeth Ilumba and Nicholas Mutunga.

Proud grandfather of jasmine= Mueni, Azelya Mumbe, Ashley Masons and Ian Masons.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday, 7th April and Wednesday, 8th April, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
A Requiem Mass will be held at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Karen, on Thursday, 9th April 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, 10th April 2026. The funeral service and burial to be held on Saturday, 11th April 2026 at Kirua Vunjo Village, Moshi, Tanzania.
