With profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will, the family of John Kings Obodho Amoko announce the passing on to glory of Allan Sunday Wasonga Amoko on 20th June 2025 while undergoing treatment in Nairobi.

He was the beloved husband of Beatrice Muoka and devoted father of Deborah Mwende Wasonga.

Allan was the cherished son of John Kings Obodho Amoko and Gladys Adoyo Amoko. He was a brother of Sarah, Susan, Lewis and Clifford.

He was an uncle of Ivy, John Kings, Esther and Gladys.

He was a grandfather of Jawar.

He was a son in law of the late Antony Muoka and Damaris Muoka. He was a brother-in-law of Henry, Christopher, Felistas,Angela, Salome, Domitila, Cecilia, Hellen, 21) Grace, Patience, Brenda, Joseph and Freddy.

There will be a fundraiser on the 29th June 2025 at Jericho SDA Church grounds from 2pm. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday 2nd July 2025 at Assumption of Mary Catholic Church Umoja at 3pm.

The cortege will leave Mama Lucy Funeral home on 3rd July 2025. The burial will take place on 4th July 2025 at the family home in Kanam Kanyango, Upper Kakwajouk village, Karachuonyo North location, Homabay County.
